  1. No doubt. But seemed a bigger crowd than any mens 'twos' game I've been to. Car park sure told a story.
  2. Harris: Round , 1 goal; Round 2, 2 goals; Round 3, 3 goals... Paxy, lots of tissues, yes, but pretty low on effectiveness this week. Right week to have a 'lapse' (as it turned out...)
  3. Seemed a pretty good local attendance here today!
  4. Floodgates. Saints not disgraced. Scoreline flatters. We managed to force the ball into the forward line and individual skills then delivered, rather than much system.
  5. Daisy is a Lever in the forward line - constantly instructing.👍
  6. You were saying, golly? 😄 That was a prolonged hold. That's when multiple umpires pays off!
  7. Sun very hot, regardless of breeze. Anyone else here feeling they're jinxing?
  8. Saints defending well ('desperation?) Bit kick and hope going inside 50.
  9. TH's one-grab pack mark, of a fairly mongrel kick, was something to see close up. Good that she honoured it, too. Over-allowed for the breeze with her later shot. It's pretty fluky around the big black gym.
  10. Only got here near 1/4 time (car parking and reception for electronic tickets leave something to be desired...) Gusty wind a factor for set shots (bit to learn there?) Temperature, too? Also affecting their 'revolutionary' possession/ transition game? And certainly not 'winning the ground ball' as they have been.
  11. I'll be there, to take the baton from you city slickers!😁
  12. There's getting to be a lot of us out there... On topic, I guess any references to 'that' grand final entertainment fail will be a bit muted now?
  13. There MUST be a video record, surely! Oh, you correctly nominated the winning catch by someone else. Not nearly so intriguing...
  14. ...and one of our faces for the Pride Round / Dees guernsey showing 😒
  15. For sure! It's proven to be good so far, although the opposition have had their problems, too.
  16. Any chance it's a curtain-raiser to the Dees v Saints women tomorrow? But you'd think we'd have heard. And I'm not sure how the new facilities cope with womens and mens teams on the same day?
  17. Just realised that might have looked like me asking you if it was sexist, Commodore! It was meant to be a nomination of AB to that less-gendered position but I should have realised you have it (and several others, no doubt?) wrapped up, Commodore. Is Vice-Commodore vacant?
  18. Has anyone made this nomination yet?... Current AFLW Rising Star and Goal Of The Year nominee A.Bannan for Figurehead of the good ship No T$ No B$ ? Edit: If that seems a bit sexist, Commodore?
  19. Phew! Glad my 'Gonna' votes weren't needed. Congrats to Bannan on her 'quinella quinella'; in this one, and made her own one with the Rising Star.
  20. It's a ripper, isn't it! (would have been even nicer if the colour transitioning in the numbers had matched the subtlety of the yoke's). Men's shape, too, Allus? I think the women's guernsey has a gathered(?) waist and flare(?) over the hips? (not such a prob, though, if you'll be wearing it Zanker-style!😉 I noticed, in the club site vid about the guernsey, that the girls, and Stinear, were at pains to tell it is for diversity of all sorts, not just in sexuality and gender (indeed, the lack of reference to LGBTQI+ - save for the appreciation of the Ruby Demons - was noticeable). I'm not well versed in these things: does the rainbow's embrace extend beyond those letters (and their '+')?
  21. A serious thread hijacked by ha-ha-iness. I like it. And Rev. Spooner would like to reclaim his aphasion from Mrs Malaprop. (I thus throw my hat into the smart arze ring...)
