AFLW: Rd 10 vs Sydney
In 'adults' (read, anyone over 14 these days, it seems, though they may all actually be 20-somethings and it's just me...) it's called tattooing...

Grading the Trade Week
Today's Age (McGowan, Ryan, McClure) has us at 'third best', at B+, behind GC and GWS, both at A, and ahead of two other B+ (Blues, Saints):

AFLW: Rd 10 vs Sydney
I like to think, as a top-6 team, that we'll at least inflict their 'average loss' on them, i.e. about 68 plus 2 minus 39 divided by 3 - 'a coupla goals'. Though I would like to be a little less stressed than waiting for that result would make me!

Not enough info for her, FND. We are a surprisingly big tribe.

Realistic 23 for 2026
With everything said about the 5-man bench, subject to his pre-season and practice/pre-season match form, I reckon Heath gets that 23rd spot. This is my early call, qualifying him to be MBMH, now that M(ex)BJMcV has slunk off.

Are we now the most foreign legion team of the league? Steele, Mihocek, Jiath, Heath, May, Lever, Langdon, Melksham, Culley, Sharp, Campbell, McAdam. If so, let's embrace it, and achieve like this mob (albeit their tag had interstate, rather than interclub, roots): https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1933_VFL_grand_final&ved=2ahUKEwjh9dqe66WQAxV9lFYBHdYCELEQFnoECCAQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1fGv-s5GQydZc5711Q5D-A

2024/25 outcome says hullo! 😄

Welcome to Demonland: Changkuoth Jiath
You could claim complexity, dg: MD was born in Sudan (Khartoum) as distinct from South Sudan, while CJ's South Sudanese parents had him in Mekelle, Ethiopia (thanks Wikipedia). What a world lies beyond the seas...

A lot better than the 1st we're down this year, though? (with a multiplier on it being Essendon 😄)

Wise move, Bob. Reckon I'll join you: 'K-os' TM: Timothy Reddan-A'Blew (2025) A new style to savour, however monikered! 😊

A disposal efficiency ÷ metres gained calculation for the above and CJ would be an interesting comparison, then. Anyone?

No worries at all, BoBo! Care to join me, though, to settle on position number 98 and commit to a punt? 😉 (p.s. I think I might have your 97 personally covered! And don't even ask on the Clarry front!)

Thanks, BoBo. I think it's my post you're finding dumb. So be it. I wasn't trying to express any special knowledge. With the Lamb re-post I was just reminding us 'punters' of a statement (albeit now old) about a 'third way' somewhat lost in the 'first' and 'second' ways of 'Humphrey' and 'picks'. My unlikely outcome (I meant to call it 'likely unlikely') was just me joining the fun and having a punt. Again, no knowledge, not even an informed position.

Time for one more repeat, maybe?... Leaves room, of course, for an unlikely outcome. In which case, I'm going for a final 'give' by GCFC: keep 24, 2 lower picks to match 24's points.
