  1. p.p.s. Not sure, though, how a ranga goes in an orange jumper? He'll constantly look like one of those soccer jersey-over-the-head goal celebrators.
  2. p.s. ...and I could almost have GWS as my second team with Jessie, Toby and Clayton in it...
  3. From Fox Footy this arvo: 4:25PM — CLARRY TO CONFIRM GIANT MOVE Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver has reportedly settled on GWS as his preferred destination, according to News Corp’s Lachlan McKirdy and confirmed by Jon Ralph on Fox Footy’s Trading Day. The 28-year-old is expected to join the Giants after more or less being told by the Demons to explore his departure options. It means Collingwood has been ousted in the race for the inside midfielder, just hours after Craig McRae cheekily said he’d been “hard to get a hold of” recently while in Sydney visiting with the Giants. McKirdy reports that “a key part of their (the Giants’) pitch” to Oliver is “the allure of removing himself from the Melbourne bubble”. Ralph noted on Trading Day that the Giants — who hold picks 13, 34, 36 this year at present — would only surrender a late selection in a deal. (...No mention of paying part of salary, and only a nominal pick in return suggests contribution, if any, would be small?)
  4. Nah. Room for a few more?...
  5. Was it the Club or Troy that knocked it back? I get the impression it was Troy who wanted to stay, not the Club exercising his 2026 contract.
  6. 'Don't mess with me' (Looks orright in red n blue, too)
  7. Lamb on Trade Radio: We have "told Christian that the likely outcome is he comes back to us".
  8. Lamb on Trade Radio: "Haven't spoken to Saints yet" but we've had an "indication from Max and his management that he'd like to join us".
  9. 'George' cos this? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Grljusich
  10. Ouch. (And I hope you meant 'not a bust', not 'less of a bust' 😄)
  11. Dislocated finger. 'Put back in' and 'OK'. Fine for now, then. Might give her grief 40 years down the track, though. I know!
  12. Ah, yes, of course, Essendon... Sorry to trigger you, A.
  13. Hester Brown was there, too, I think? Any chance of BBB returning? 🙏
  14. Noticed this at the ground, over my own hearty joining in: I reckon the girls might have put their own subtle stamp on the song, with a bit of a 'swing'! Organic or deliberate, does anyone know? (@Ghostwriter?) melbournefc.com.auLatest Video | Melbourne Football ClubWatch the latest interviews and highlights from the Melbourne Football Club
  15. Not quite so LOL-ish, but, still... Kate McCarthy: 'AFLW All Australian' Max Gawn: '247 games'
  16. Thanks, @Fork 'em, but what brought that flurry on?
  17. How did this slip off the main board?! Must be an unusually consuming post-men's! Anyways, beautiful night for footy here. Hope it's a beautiful night of footy, too. My last 2 times here were straight-sets sadness...
  18. Now you're being silly.
  19. ...which isn't so bad? Couldn't happen if the window were closed.
  20. When it comes to Gold Coast it's as if so! Blind spot on my radar; can't think why! So mine was a genuine question if anyone can help?
  21. Tomorrow night, Kate. Get it done! Get her there, girls (but win first!) Wanna see it, live.
  22. I can be comfortable with this. My one worry is who will be the next Max coming in? Who is out there for us to want - and get - at the end of those 'couple more' that, in his own veiled words, will see him out?
  23. Hoping the 'pros' (both senses of the word 😄) on here could oblige.
