  1. Luggage nowhere in sight for him today, either!
  2. Equalisation continues to parade its wares this round. Age tipping has 6 of the 9 games 14-0 and the other 3 are 13-1 (us - thanks Sam McClure!), 12-2 and 11-3. Mind you, the 11-3 was in Collingwood's favour, LOL. With the Hawthorn tippers at margins of 1, 5 and - gutsy play, Stokes! - 12.
  3. Goldrick: saw what you did there! 😄
  4. Some perspective: melbournefc.com.auLatest Video | Melbourne Football ClubWatch the latest interviews and highlights from the Melbourne Football ClubSide out-take: Koltyn's a considered young man.
  5. Harry Sharp covers him? (at least at Charlie's recent levels of performance relative to the 'set of woods' the Club values him for?)
  6. After the self-induced anaesthesia of yesterday, now the gathering pace of the reveal and assessment of new coach options has me feeling like a kid on Christmas eve. I'm antsy for morning to come!
  7. Also - I'm not sure anyone else has said this - take note of his contrary, positive view of Casey. I sometimes think there's a bit of confirmation bias associated with the current arrangements.
  8. Any opinions, overt or otherwise?
  9. Is this intended for him to see, @Demonland? You have my vote.
  10. Where have you gone, @Bitter but optimistic? Your moniker, so apposite to this day of heightened mixed emotions.
  11. ...and today was the last straw?
  12. We'll need someone filly focused on going for geld.
  13. After trawling diligently through the now four applicable threads? Anaesthetised.
  14. Yep, why not? The cupboard was thinning out anyway. I suspect this one - surely true - is a keeper, too.
  15. With one or two unfortunate possible exceptions, @Demonland, can the contents of this thread be gift-wrapped and find their way to Simon?
  16. Anything on the players' socials?
  17. I imagine it's automatic, based on games? He qualifies in spades there. I like it that he feels he'll always be a Melbourne person and retain his love for same.
  18. This is the thread I want to be in. Thank you, Simon.
  19. The still-top article on the Club's website Ah, the irony: not so for Simon's 10th season.
  20. Freudian, QD?
  21. The school of thought that says the Board had someone in mind in exiting Goodwin now: what expertise, knowledge, or outside advice can a Board have, collectively or individually, that this could be anything other than 'fingers crossed', either as to the availability or to the future success of that someone. Not speculating it can't. It's a serious question.
  22. Is it still the case that clubs need points to secure F/S (and NGA?) draftees if other clubs select them? In which case, how can clubs get all - indeed, even more than one - of their F/S (and NGA?) prospects?
  23. Charlie won't be getting at least the next AFL game.
