He would have been gone last year if he was out of contract and frost still had a year, showed nothing this year to prove he should continue to get games over developing another kid

Even if this was true why would you trade in a draft compromised year and while still under contract, he is only going to get better and be worth more in another 12 months plus is required if we want to improve next year, look no further than Cats trade for Kelly. Sure Bont is a better player clearly, but if you did that just pick 22 mids, why even bother to have a team. As a mid where Bont plays the majority of the time he wouldn’t be in the first dozen mids this year on form. One day if Bont goes and plays fwd most of the time then we can judge him on that but until that day he shouldn’t be in the side unless it’s as a mid.

If its between Viney and Brayshaw id Trade Viney, has more value but, has probably peaked as a player and our midfield performs better without him imo.

If a Ben Brown or Daniher is out of the question due to cost and injury then even some one like a hooker could straighten us up until Jackson is ready, but as we saw with the King Brothers this year that day can come quickly

Until we can get more pressure from our fwds we won’t ever be better than average, Brown, Hunt, ANB, Weid, Fritsch, Melk and Spargo had a total of 2 tackles between them and only 1 inside. 50. As a team we had 4 tackles inside 50 for the whole game. Pickett with 2 tackles had as much as them combined. This team is going no where fast unless this improves massively

in Hibberd, Pickett, Bennell, baker out McDonald, anb, Wagner, Smith Goodwin seriously needs to get it in his head that not every player has to be a body on the line head over the ball, we need skilful players to who can spot and hit targets, while it would be good if players could be both we need to make some compromises and fine a balance

One has to question why we just bombed the ball fwd for the whole first half, completely headless stuff we reverted back to what we were doing at the start of the year. Why would they do that makes absolutely zero sense but seemed to be a conscious decision.
