POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
We need to be smarter going fwd our key fwds are barely capable of halving a contest let alone wining it. Giving our smalls no chance to crumb a goal. No way do we run the table, top 2 is now out of the question and top 4 is really on the line, we can probably only afford to loose 2 more from here if we want to hold onto the double chance

Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition
Sure as you extend it out the numbers look better, but we clearly do have a backlog of untried or barely tried players from the last 3 drafts let alone more for this year coming up, as only 2 of those 8 picks (7 of which were under pick 40) taken in the national draft have found a regular spot in the 22 we would have been better off trading up for a single pick in each of those years and gone after generational talent.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Hopefully Goodwin recognises that either Tomlinson or Petty if he isn’t fwd has to play down back for us to get the most from May and Lever. It’s was like been transported back to 2021 watching the backline today. If the forward line can just be more effective with there shots on goal we will be in great shape come finals.

The List
Any kids drafted now will only be the cherry on top, by the time they can fix holes in our list half the premiership side will be gone. If we want to fix deficiencies regardless of where they are we have to goto the trade table. First stop is a Key Forward and another Key back, Petty isn’t the answer forward if we are aiming for a flag and May is showing his age and needs some help as he can’t go with the taller fwds of the competition.

Trust In This Team
The counter argument is they then won 13 in a row in large part due to a huge home ground advantage on the way to a flag. Even if we improve in the 2nd half we are not likely to repeat that making top 4 unlikely and top 2 impossible. Making a Flag unlikely. As greedy as it sounds I think most agree this team needs to win more than one flag to be called a success and top 4 finishes or a grand final appearance won’t cut it and the clock is ticking. How many years at peak do May and Gawn have left.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Yartapuulti
Game plan imo, we haven’t adjusted and teams have us figured out. We always play an extra behind the ball giving up equal numbers at the contest, this only works if we can split it at the contest and get the ball back via an interception often enough when we don’t. Problem is we aren’t winning it at the contest nearly enough and teams are being smarter when going forward. Goody needs to even out the numbers at the contest to give ourselves a chance.
