Dees Confirm Chase for Arsenal Fitness Guru
FWIW... that's literally exactly what he did (and many would say, continues to do 2000 years after his death)

AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
I assume Winmar was being a divisive, virtue-signalling, social justice warrior, provoking a crowd who were exercising their freedom of speech in the spirit of true blue fun and banter...

Jaidyn Stephenson Betting Scandal
Well outside 50... wonder if the team rule is to put it to the top of the square or to have a ping..?

Jaidyn Stephenson Betting Scandal
Being available for finals is outrageous. When I first read the headline I though it was the whole season, which is swift and appropriate action. Being available to play finals for a top 4 team is completely unjust and sends the wrong message.

AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
You provided the example - I'm asking for the context of your example. Godfrey retired 2007, so I'd suggest that your example has absolutely nothing to do with the booing that Goodes received in the last 18 months of his career.

AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
Simon Godfrey..? What year was this? Is that when you think the ‘booing’ started?

Mid-season Coaching Revamp
Feeling much better with Rawlings back in the coaching group; I’d say we would have had to top-up his pay to get him to give up his senior coaching gig at Casey.

Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
Maybe we could throw in Oliver as steak knives to entice a trade..?

AFL and 18 Clubs apologise to Adam Goodes
My take on Goodes was that he was quite literally the 'perfect' AFL player. He could play Ruck, Forward, Wing or on the ball; and whilst I don't remember him ever playing there, he could have dominated down back as well. He was strong, fast, had great power and acceleration, incredible endurance, clean hands and was extremely skilful. One of the things that was lost in the complete poo-storm that was his final year, was just how good a player he was. If you were to design a perfect Australian Rules Footballer, he's pretty much what you'd come up with.

What is left to look forward to in 2019
All about the development heading into 2020 from here! Want to see some wins, confidence and synergy in the team so we can hit the ground running next season. - Would love to see Baker getting some more games into him; Baker and Hunt roaming the wings of the MCG could be a dangerous proposition. - getting some quality game-time into Lever, May, Hibberd, Salem, Hore, Jetta, Lockhart, etc. Let them learn how to predict and play off each other in the second half of the year so there's no growing pains round 1 2020. - Sparrow and Dunkley starting to get some form at Casey and start to beat down the door for seniors. - AVB to make a full recovery and get some games in, before a quick rest and ready to go for day one of pre-season. - Petracca playing full time in the mid-field with little spells up forward. Let him feel the heat and intensity so he knows how far his endurance needs to improve going into the next pre-season. Want him built like Jobe Watson round 1 2020. - Weideman is looking like Max Gawn in 2014. He's reading the ball and getting to the right spots, but it's just not sticking. When they start to stick, then we'll have a real player on our hands. - Brayshaw in the guts. - Harmes to continue with his current trajectory; he is a gun and one of the most underrated players going round. - Oliver, Brayshaw, Petracca, Viney, Harmes with Gawn in the center square - we really shouldn't be losing many clearances.

So do you fire the Carlton recruiter for missing Oliver or praise him for getting Curnow..? Fire the Brisbane recruiter for getting Schache or praise them for getting hipwood? Fire the GWS recruiter for getting Pickett or praise him for getting Himmelberg?

Reactionary post. Four weeks ago everyone was saying ‘how did we not take McKay instead of Weid!?’ McKay was starring and Curnow couldn’t buy a goal. Now Harry plays badly and Curnow stars and there’s a flip. Thats why operating in hindsight is so easy.- Josh Dunkley
Dogs fans are uneasy about Dunkley not being signed, especially with free agent Libba signing on last week and taking up a bit of the cap. I have no insider information other than if they’re concerned, I’m interested. On form would be in our top five players this year. On a side note, their father Andrew said on his mid season draft interview that he wanted/hoped to see the boys play together someday... made it all a bit awkward.- Round 13 Non MFC Games
Off injured at the start of the second.- Round 13 Non MFC Games
Might be a good time for Sydney to execute their head recruiter.- Round 13 Non MFC Games
Stratton is a dog. Its always interesting to see how players cope when they’ve been members of very successful teams who are then on the decline. He is someone who isn’t handling it well.- Round 13 Non MFC Games
Jack Martin is putting together a very good year. The cynic would say it’s his contract year, the optimist would say he’s finally got his body right and is realising his potential.- Round 13 Non MFC Games
That’s dog act and even worse that’s being done by a captain. Team’s getting well beaten and you’re sneaking around pinching your opponent. Inspiring.- Josh Lyon - is the son of a gun a gun?
No good enough or Fremantle bound..?- Jason Taylor Resume
Probably need to follow your own advice here Mucho Complaino - you’ve been saying the same thing page after page after page. What are your examples to support your argument. Which clubs have nailed every post first round pick over the past five seasons? Give us something to compare Taylor’s record against. The majority of drafted players don’t play more than 10 games. It’s even less after a the first round- so who are comparing Taylor to if his incompetence is so glaring? - Jason Taylor Resume
