He is a great kick, but prefer him being on the end of the final chain of disposal.. He is a great field kick, but we need guys using it off half back and through the middle. We have very few.

Sad fact, but he wouldn't have much competition for this.. Salem, that is about it..

Joe Daniher is a freak! Amazing marking skills, huge leap, takes the ball at its highest point... Bad form in front of goal, but mechanically looks okay and can be fixed.. If not could play further up the ground at CHF or even ruck as his field kicking is good. Cloke is a role player with some deficiencies.. Both are miles ahead of Butcher!!

Slightly off topic, but didn't want to start a new thread... I am moving home to Melb after 6 years overseas and wanted to buy a membership for myself, my wife and our young daughter. Any suggestions on what options are available? Ideally just want to go to home games and not fussed on seating. I saw the website has only a section for interest for next year.

Great question.. Not too sure whether he can handle long stints in the middle and he certainly look at sea down back... Perhaps he could be used more forward. Certainly need someone with accuracy in front of goals and he is good overhead.

One thing is for certain.... Big Maxy will enjoy the break! Rucked the entire year on his own, amazing effort.

We have been a poor tackling side for as long as I can remember.. Today was just a 'bruise free day' for the young Dees.. Hope they drop the habit. Still lack a fair bit of genuine class and leadership but some of the talent is there to work with..

I admit I was very quick to knock Oscar, but his improvement has been dramatic. He is still timid and needs to build strength, but if he plays 20 plus game next year, I suspect he will be unrecognizable on current form.

I agree that he doesn't have the strength, but given we could play finals next year, he will be a lot stronger and better prepared by then. I am not too sure whether we need 3 key position talls each week either.

Serious question...... With Frost and OMAC improving quickly and Tommy boy re-signing- Are we all fairly comfortable to leave Hurley alone? How does everyone feel about these 3 being core defenders for the next 5 plus years?

For those that saw the VFL match, where did BenKen and ANB play most of the game on the weekend?

If Jeffy is out, then I wouldn't rush JKH in just yet. He is still only just back from some pretty significant hamstring injuries.. From what I am hearing, it could be wet on the weekend, so ANB to come in for Jeffy and provide some tough contested work up forward.

From memory, the reports stated that about 5-6 players were in this category, so you could be right.. I remember Gartlett was one of them..

Pretty sure they will want to give every club an even spread.. Doesn't look too good if we get another.. Especially with Brisbane & Essendon fighting for a priority pick.
