  1. I’ve been a big advocate for the trade.. not because I do not believe in his ability, but more about his current value. I think we have some real needs which could be filled by what Jesses currency allows. No disrespect to Jesse, but I like our side without him in it- playing a more mobile forward line like Richmond. This is just an opinion, and how I believe the game is going to continue to be played for some time. Jesses biggest challenge is not getting the ball. It is the speed in which he turns to deliver to a target. He often turns, waits and waves hand signals before he kicks it in. For me, he could learn a lot from Melksham.

Would just love a MCG final.. who we play is just about the narrative ?
  3. Gee I love this club!!
  4. I think Vanders gets 1 week and Hibberd gets a 2 week rest. Wagner in for Hibbo, no idea who comes in for Vanders, not Garlett by the sounds of the VFL report.
  5. I never cried but gee I felt embarrassed about my behaviour the last 2 weeks. Including what I’ve posted on demonland.. talk about an over the top sook!!!
  6. West Coast by 24 points, Dees gallant in defeat with Goodwin talking along about the narrative in the press conference. While the football world hopes we just miss out again after a loss next week.
  7. Always been a Pedo fan, but looks off the pace. Worried it might be the end of him at AFL level

This will be the making of another great Melbourne forward. Unleash the Weid!!
  9. Blokes with slower lower eyes.. whatever that means..
  10. I think he and TMAC are too similar. We could get some serious quality in return is the reason people are looking at options to move him.
  11. If one of Hibberd or Melksham had played, this website would be stagnant
  12. It had improved, but was so obvious on the weekend. He is frail. I vote move him on
  13. The biggest issue I see is our zone. We allow space for teams to either cut us up or play keeping off.
  14. Our problem is, we need things to go our way. A fit list, players in form, an opponent who is not at full strength. Our systems are strong enough to cope with adversity. If we fluke finals, we will be smashed week 1. Not a finals ready group.
  15. You will always cop a bit of whack from some for this type of post, but I do feel your pain. Been a Melbourne supporter for 36 years and a member for ten plus years. I became increasingly more passionate when my father who was Melbourne mad- died a few years back. I’ve wanted success so much for him even though he is no longer around to see it. last year round 23 hit me so hard I didn’t watch a game of footy over the finals series. My wife pleaded with me this year not to follow them so closely as it effects my whole mood over the week, so for the first year I didn’t buy a membership. I thought this would help, but I’m unfortunately too passionate. Yesterday was hard and not sure I can continue next year if we miss finals again. Most will say it’s melodramatic, but after having a serious motorcycle accident a month ago, I need to focus on more important things. I wish you all the best, hope you find a healthy mix and can continue to follow the Dees.
  16. This is spot on.. recon Jesse will miss through injury- if so I’d go a smaller forward line and bring Hannan in.
  17. Because when you are given a lifeline you should take it,. Good sides do!
  18. Yep. Just watched it and hated it! Should make them all but a membership or 50 each. That’s how many will drop off!!

Thought this was about our poor transition to defence, cause we had no energy!!
  20. Salem needs to be a link up forward. ANB needs to be moved back
  21. Was more hoping to justify that crap!! Thanks for jumping in, was wondering why we were spineless
  22. Just look at the history of the club we are lost to almost every team more than we have won.. for a once successful club we have been poor for so long.. we supporters crave a chance at success we are constantly let down!!
  23. Out in straight sets.. we are the Nick Kyrgios of the AFL
  24. My favourite part was how consistent we were from start to finish. You would think if everyone watching understands the importance of hitting up short options, the team would get the message. No!
