The hype combined with an interrupted pre-season the killers. Still think our list is a little overrated, sides like Port have as good a list on paper I feel and showed us how it’s done.. We are a 6-10 team again this year I feel. No way we are top 4 while guys like Hunt, Frost and ANB are around the mix.

I’ve publicly never been a Jesse fan, but having lost my father early, can understand and appreciate his decision. Hope he finds peace with the move and hope we benefit from it.

I have tried not to post in anger, thought I’d save it till today. My feeling from yesterday was that a young group tired badly from the extra games.. not finals hardened yet and didn’t turn up. Need to add pace and kicking to our list and remove some dead wood.. 2019 we will make it to the big dance!!!

I think we have some holes in our list. We still need outside run. Collingwood has this in spades.. they have a good list and appear well drilled- their system allows them to cover injuries well. They are well ahead.

I don’t agree with this. I’d trade Tyson, delist Lewis and look at getting rid of some VFL poor ball users, Bugg comes to mind. We need ball users.

I agree with comments about Frisch, he needs to move back to the wing. Smith comes in to replace him in the back half, Tyson out. Solves all our issues- these being pace and disposal off the wing and a good 3rd tall defender. “You know it makes sense”

Went to the game nursing a broken shoulder in a sling.. cheers to the enthusiastic supporter who bear hugged me after the siren.. Stood near the Hawthorn faithful- gee success has made them rotten arrogant A holes.. one bloke heckled me all game and was getting annoyed with my lack of response.. enjoyed seeing him leave at the 15 minute mark..
