I feel for Goodwin as he should be 4-0 .. Team has kicked itself out of 2 games & fallen asleep in 2 qtrs! Poor decision making & turnovers ... hope players are feeling the hurt & start rewarding with wins

Another missed opportunity! Should have been 4-0 .. Players like the smell of their own bath water! Getting ahead of themselves! Maybe they need to watch how the Bulldogs win games! Continue to let down their supporters.. fed up with these results!!!

Players have no excuses anymore , stability , development etc at the club is present .. Wtf is wrong with these players .. have they gotten ahead of themselfs? Have enough as 20 yr member & a decade of a train wreck!

The Borough is in deep financial problems with debts of 300K! I'm a Port boy & grew up watching them play on Sundays as they have the same theme song A grand Old Flag and similar colours! Always thought that we should have been aligned to them....But it would be a shame if we lost such a club! You can buy memberships for $70

Bottom line is that if we kicked accurately we would have won! The ups and down of players in their 1-3 year at the club is to be expected....

Too many posters sinking the boots into players and expecting players with less than 30 games to be play well every week! Sure not up for honourable losses and our kicking was terrible and cost us, but want be the 1st or last team that has a bad kicking for goal game either!

What a shame as I really think barring injury that he could add value to the list .. It appears his issues run deeper than just concussion .. Nothing wrong with that as mental illness & I hope he's getting the right support

Haven't read all the posts but I'm sure Lewis main role is to provide leadership & teach our young guns what it takes to play finals & win flags .. May play some decent games as he come 2nd in Hawks b&f .. A bargain get for a 4 time premiership player.. Remember flags are won by teams not by an individual!

Part of footy landscape.. It's called list mgt .. Ask Lewis & Mitchell .. 4 time premiership players .. Both 1& 2 in b&f & moved on! I'm sure club tried to trade him as they did for Dunn..

Agree lol..... In terms of him being 50/50...what more can the club do? Its in the best shape its been in terms of its list, stability etc At same stage players need to take a leap of faith & believe in the club . If our players are not motivated by what the doggies achieved, I don know what will & I question that the club has to have all the boxes ticked for them to stay....Remember its a 2 way street!

Who was the [censored] from WC saying they had constant dialogue with Jessie? Well done to the club on how this was managed & not jumping @ shadows & reacting to the noise! A far cry from how this would have been handled by the previous mob in charge!

What contributions are you expecting .. Plenty of premiership players in the media who are not involved with their former clubs.. The club engaged with him to help when it was a busket case which represents were the club was that you can't take a band aid approach ..

I've been since the 70s as a kid wondering will we ever win a flag? I'm 52 & still sad as thrs only us &. Saints supporters who haven't witnessed a flag!

Reality is not every player wants to commit to the rigors of afl footy... not saying this is the case for Hogan, but plenty of talented players who drop out as just can't commit to the demands of afl.

We need to highlight that Cameron has had about 300 top 20 picks at his disposal so would like to see him coach another team on a level playing field.....

The issue I have with the bye is that the AFL always trying to find a way to equalise the competition & trying to make the finals series more even...... FFS thats why we have a final 8 & the teams who win more games & kick a higher score finish 1st-8th! Not taking anything away from the Dogs & happy they won but I believe the bye to helped them...The AFL screwed over the Swans & Geelong with not allowing them to host home ground finals but allowed the GWS to play at home. Regardless of the result they need to start respecting higher placed teams to host home ground finals. If you want the best chance to finish top 4 win more games & kick more goals & stop compromising the competition to create an illusion of evenness & then flipping the other way!

What are the doggies paying Bevo. Vs Roos??? Bevo a flag I'm 2nd season vs 10 wins in 3rd season .. Not having a crack at Roos as I'm sure our lust was a busker case .. But at some stage players need to take the responsibility & don't expect everything to be perfect @ a club!
