Correct, port melb vfl ground is ripe for development same theme song almost same colours … very tricky with our alignment with Casey.. would need to be a standalone but plenty of room. FB will be a new suburb but it’s attached to old port melb that’s the difference…

Club will do an internal review but like all clubs want disclose their findings in detail & it’s only been a week and dare say will take longer than this Bottom line not quiet good enough, it’s a game of inches as per the results, will need new assistance coaches with Yze leaving but others need to move on, change the game plan of how we go forward, fix our field & goal kicking is this linked to our fitness?? list changes & definitely need fwds

Why did Goody get a contract extension in 22 & again in 23 … understandable in 22 after winning a flag in 21 but why another extension so soon???

The filth need a gps to help find them the airport, didn’t travel the last 5 rounds & McGuire complained about playing the lions @ marvel in rd 24! All other top 4 teams travelled twice, in a tight competition how can one team have an advantage???

Goodwin needs to change the game plan become more daring & stop this bs down the line bombing & use the corridor. List changes need a fwds big and small New assistant coaches including a kicking coach to address field & goal kicking Fitness coach as it’s never been the same since Burgess As Lyon said suck it up and players come back fitter stronger and forget 2023

Perhaps the players poor skill execution of field kicking & shots on goals were impacted by our lack of fitness? When you are fatigued your skill execution drops ofd.

Reality is opposition supporters etc want to tear down a club that’s won a flag recently, in particular pure & blues who both have won only 1 flag between them since 2000. I kindly remind them of this & they shut up. The % all went wrong buy decisions made across coaches & players … so suck it up & accept we’re not good enough & find ways to improve., took the cats 11 seasons to win another after 2011 !

Gary Lyon on the couch sums up perfectly suck it up didn’t play well enough come back for preseason training to get fitter & better full stop .. coaches get better improve ur game plan, blowtorch should be on all of them inc Goody but even stronger on port power as same coach 10yrs + no gf or a flag! Beaten convincingLy in both finals !

Game goes past you if you don’t re invent urself …. Sure fwd line injuries impacted all but our game plane was found wanting… the field kicking was poor, I’m sorry both Hunter & Langdon kicks were poor as! Viney dropped off, Salem also but his health issues impacted him, T Mac feel for the guy as his injuries have slowed him too much , needed to make Grundy work as max getting older but Goody has slammed the door..need injection of speedy forwards
