Luv your rational! Seriously if we don't play finals its a failure.... If we finish on 12 wins & miss out on % its an improvement over 2016 on wins.. Reality is, its a very even comp & its possible that teams on the ladder from 7-11 may be on 12 wins and a lot of teams have lost close ones not just us!

Just wanted to highlight... Since returning from Injury Watts has not touched the ball a lot or impacted in his last 3 games.. Prior to his injury he's played well.. what's frustrating to see for a player who's never played finals & played in very poor sides . I can't see any apitite for the contest . I don't see any hard tackling or pressure acts as a Senior player we're is his leadrship? Surely the coaches can't accept this . I don't want him to be the whipping boy but ffs opportunity to play finals!! need to see the hunger & aggression..

Who knows... our leaders need to stand up & don't let an opportunity go by ... need to question the mental toughness of our group

I'm baffled how we lost to Nth last week .. I'm watching their game tonite & shake my head as to how we could lose to them!

Reality is last year we were not ready for finals We are still developing but should be playing finals, but loses to Nth twice, freo & hawks may impact in our chances playing finals..

!st qtr killed us as usual..... We kicked 7 goals to 6 after qtr time... We leak too many goals!

Its obvious as to the afl backed GWS are second for a reason.....but when will the MFC ever stand up to be counted?? Lets hope its not another missed opportunity...Lets hope the next 3 weeks the leaders in our club stand up & help steer the young group & play finals...Though not expecting to progress far into the finals as they are not ready but if they roll over the next 3 weeks it will be a step backwards & suffering continues for its members & supporters for over a decade!

Hate saying this ...but we look spent! Cant afford to drop games like Nth x 2 times & freo...should have been on 12 wins already & will struggle to make the 8 Not Watts bashing but reality is has done nothing in 3 weeks since his return...Surely can't be injured & has touched the ball 2 times thus far FFS!

Some of the comments here honestly .. Lewis contribution thus far has been great .. barring his striking charge his experience & hardness & teaching the young group & even older players what culture is required to win 4 flags! His possessions continue to be in our top group of players ... honestly don't know what some supporters expect he is only 1 of 22 & plenty of others who hardly touched the ball!

On a different note .. wtf do we continue to sell home games in Darwin ... may cost us a final spot! We give up home ground advantage & actually play sides like the crows who are closer to the Darwin! Understand $$ but gotta get back to our home & build a fortress!

Another missed opportunity! New we would lose as soon as Nth was accused of Tanking & of course Melb was playing them next! Frustrating part is we have lost 4 games to teams below us, nth x 2, freo & hawks( when they were playing poor) Not making excuses....reality is whilst Nth is second last they have lost 6 games under a goal or so...Comp is very even Frustrating to see how Hawks,Swans with poor starts are able to regroup & Swans aiming for top 4 and Hawks may make the 8..... They have a engrained DNA of finding ways to win! We can only hope Goodwin & co are building this into this team!

Undisciplined act ... let his teammates & club down! We want to be know as a hard team but play with in the rules .. he knew we have a mounting injury list also...

Point is they didn't follow team rules .... Goodwin is setting standards/culture & making sure players earn the right to play senior footy not by default! It's the players who have let down their teammates & club here!

Im sure all players would have been clear on the rules & if not as a professional would you not check?? Players let down their team mates and club down!
