  1. Crameri is underrated, Essendon forward line is struggling without him.
  2. Yeah, Terlich, Pedo and McDonald let us down with their kicking. Tom Mc is a great spoiler and Terlich is a decent backman, but they should give it off more. I've been impressed by Jetta.
  3. That won't happen, we need to move it on quicker. It starts from the switch down back, but as much as I love Dunn - he isn't the best decision maker or kick. I don't want the ball in McDonalds hands, that leaves Howe, who is a brilliant user of the football, we need to use him, JKH and Jetta more out of the back line. If we switch it like we should, Watts can lead up the wing and deliver it into Dawes. Bullies are dropping a couple back, but if they focus on Dawes - Frawley could bob up.
  4. Get Brynes off, get Salem on. I can't believe Brynes still gets a game.
  5. We need the ball in Jack Watts hands when delivering inside 50. We've been shocking, Watts is a brilliant kick, so use him.
  6. Howe is looking like some sort of freak in defense.
  7. Minson threw Spencer around last year, he won't be able to do that to the big Russ.
  8. Jamar very good so far. Very strong, that is your goal big fella.
  9. Ablett jr was the best player that year, by so much it is a joke. I feel sick even thinking of it, just another charlie they robbed off the kid. I swear not, he should have at least 4 charlies already, I mean.. At least. On another note, I wouldn't mind us wearing the pink strip every home game. We could tap into the female fan base, Abbott does it, we can to.
  10. That is awesome that Blease had 30. Sam Blease not usually a big ball winner, this is EXACTLY what MFC want from Sam. I don't care if Blease burnt a few, to have 30 possessions is a reflection of an increased work ethic. Sam Blease, you can get results from EFFORT and if you continue to do this, you'll be the player we know you can be.
  11. I'd like to see us keep Roos. Both Roos and Bomber are much of a muchness. There is a reason why all good assistants come from the Sydney and Geelong production lines. My ideal coach would be Roos, if not Roos, Bomber.. If not Bomber, Ross Lyon... If not Ross Lyon, then maybe Brett Kirk.
  12. Was a good junior. But needs to work on his repeat efforts.
  13. Salem will be the best of the lot.
  14. It is a great result for us, Viney will still need to temper his game somewhat though. Jack needs to harness his aggression and use it at appropriate times. He wasn't bull at a gate in this instance, but there are times he is. Viney needs to find two speeds, not just one. I don't think this incident deserved to even be cited, but hopefully Jack can make a positive out of it. God knows we need him this weekend, we are a big chance.
  15. Not one of my finer moments. Having said that, the jury is still out, but Dawes looking impressive of late.
  16. I support both forums, they both do an amazing job. We all bleed red and blue.
  17. If we had Wines, we off finished further up the ladder last year. We wouldn't of been in a position to pull the trigger on the Tyson/Salem deal. That is about the only positive I could find.
  18. Some people listen to journos who have never played football, so Barrett has a job. Personally, I don't listen to anyone who hasn't actually played the game - but that is just me, different strokes, different folks.
  19. Double black arm bands it is then.
  20. I think we have to appeal on principal alone. MFC will appeal because it is the right thing to do.
  21. When we become a better side, it will improve. Just like the umpiring in our games. Everyone likes to beat up on the weak kid. If Viney was a Collingwood player, he wouldn't even of been up at the tribunal.
  22. Viney had 3 options. 1. Bump - Best option to protect himself 2. Tackle - Best option to not protect himself, would've got shirt fronted by 2 guys at pace. 3. Pull out of contest - Avoid contest, should the AFL be encouraging players not to contest the ball? Everyone can make what they will of the verdict, but I am not sure the AFL have done themselves any favors here.
  23. It's like the AFL want fans to switch off. They are doing a fine job if that is their intention.
