  1. Think we thrown all we had. WC knew what we did, and weren’t dealing. If we’d have offloaded Petty, maybe we could’ve snared Reid. But even then, it’s possible WC would’ve still said no. We aren’t the club that should be kicking ourselves. North lost out on Reid and he has the Carey factor.
  2. Having so many tackles is a massive string to his bow. We really need to apply pressure inside the contest, currently, it’s all left to Sparrow.
  3. Petty is a reasonable back man. He isn’t much chop as a forward though. For starters, he is a below average kick. In addition, he isn’t exactly clunking the footy. He’s a poor man’s TMAC. However, he is more of a key down back than TMAC was, and we will need that when May is gone.
  4. Id be surprised to see him again this year. Looks too raw, and not even near the standard.
  5. Yeah I’d move on some players and get some more youth in.
  6. Kozzie should definitely go for at least a couple weeks. Will give another player an opportunity. It’s just where the game is at. I think Kozzi will adapt anyway.
  7. 2/2 In SA. Fantastic. Not easy. Well done to the lads. Wasn’t our best game. But we got the job done, I don’t think the umpires served our game style well. Windsor compliments this group a lot. JVR at his best lifts our morale. Petty is a back man, and that isn’t a bad thing, as hell replace May eventually. I thought TMAC did well. Chandler had good pressure. A real game turner was Fritsch, and Pickett was there when needed.
  8. Hopefully that’s Billings to the VFL for the year.
  9. Im surprised how bad Adelaide are going inside 50
  10. $1.17 I’d have us at. I don’t understand why we’re anywhere near $1.54
  11. Windsor doesn’t look as though he needs a rest. At his rate of improvement he’ll probably be in our best 6 at the club after next week. I haven’t seen a player come at our club come do what Windsor has. We’re a top 4 level club, and this kid comes in first year and improves the side drastically. Unless he gets injured he’ll be winning the rising star.
  12. He looks good, and flashy, with plenty of upside. Haven’t seen much of the defensive side yet. What’s really impressive about Reid - and Windsor - is their pace. Windsor is sharp inside the contest, repeats tackles, excels on the outside. We’ve lucked out. I haven’t seen that from Reid, but no doubt we will. But Windsor is desperate, and I’d be surprised to see that from Reid. It’s a mentality. If Reid was desperate he wouldn’t carry any fat on him. It’s a harsh bench mark but true.
  13. I think he has the attributes to remain on a list somewhere. But time is running out to find his role. It’s probably a third tall rotating as a relief ruck. But he’s had time. It’s not like Watts, who was always a quarterback played up key forward.
  14. Without being bias, and on limited viewing, I’d have him top of the class. Dursma looks good too.
  15. I wouldn’t say an A grader. However, he’s an improving playing even at his age. It’s more the mental now. ANB is athletic, with a tank, but a cooler head than we see. He is aging well, and he will improve.
  16. We did well to come back. Just need to stick our tackles and apply more pressure within the contest. Port were lucky early. They aren’t much of a side, so we should be able to break them down late. Viney getting frees he deserves, Rivers starting to realize he can take the game on - no one can stop him, and Howes.. just thoroughly impressive. Sky is the limit for Howes
  17. Ditto. Shame he wasn’t coming through our system now. Elite user.
  18. I’d play Howes on one wing, Windsor on the other. Instruct our backs to switch play more and utilize the wingers pace and dare. Run our wingers into the ground. Keep our mids fresher and ready.
