I'd hate him to look like a synchronised swimmer. -

Jake just needs to learn that those big mits of his are designed to clunk marks. -
I hope the Club is visited by the ghost of premierships past and become awake to the opportunities that await in the New Year.

I wonder the logic behind broadcasting your intentions so early. Seems a bit weird.

I think many underestimate Fitz. He still is very young for a tall and has had health/injury issues. With further development and support could be very very handy.- 62 replies

I wouldn't begrudge Jones from trying to secure the best deal he can for himself and his family. I do however hate the system that allows the top clubs to plunder the battlers so that they reap the benefit of all the experience and development provided. There certainly isn't an even playing field. If Jones did go I think it would bring me close to the end of my support of AFL. Having said that I would be really surprised if he did leave. I think he is hanging out for a 5 year contract.

There are some miserable sods on this forum. What would life be without some hope and expectation? I personally love Satys training reports and his positivity. Leave him alone to keep doing what he does.

A BIG POINT ON THE COMPASS ~ The Sam Baulderstone Thread

trimming down like he has may make him lose omentum -
Must be really hard for Trenners turning up on that scooter thing, seeing all your team mates training the house down and not being sure where you fit in - especially after the failed trade episode. Feel really sorry for him as he is a class act.

What an all time great album Déjà Vu is.

Strauss, Blease, Tapscott: End of an era
chook fowler replied to bing181's topic in Melbourne Demons
History would suggest that many struggle post broken leg if the tibia is involed. Barlow is the only one i can recall fully recovering. Nathan Brown was never the same, Gary Rohan is OK but not the same player he was. I thnk Strauss and Blease have been unlucky, as has our club. Pretty unusual for 2 recruits to have the same injury early in their careers not too far apart. -
On the basis of preseason reports I reckon The Toump will be playing.

Saty, what are your impressions of Ben Newton? -
If Cameron said he was a lying machine I'd believe it.

Speaking of arses I see Leon Cameron has seen the need to jump to $cully's defence. Poor possum has been getting a bit of shite about not being worth the big bucks and battling to get a spot in the GWS midfield. Sure sign of things not being right if the coach has to stick up for you. I notice he said Scully would develop into a good player - hardly seems a ringing endorsement. My heart bleeds. -
