I'm more interested in picks 40 and 53 than the first 2. There is a good chance 2 handy players will be still available.

I can spell TOMATO backwards - it's forwards I have trouble with. -
I'm finding this over-analysis of the draft a bit bizarre. To say an 18 year old holds a grudge about Neelds treatment seems unlikely as does a rift between the coaches and recruiters. I for one am happy to see what unfolds as I have confidence that our decision makers are much better than we have ever had.

A big bodied, explosive, ready to go mid who can kick goals and seems driven to succeed. What's not to like? -

Why not make the comparison with Dustin Martin who has settled down to be one of the top midfielder/forwards in the business despite coming from a long way back in the attitude dept. I would back our new development staff of McCartney etc to sort out any issues. -

FFS the kid is 18 and full of testosterone. Give him a break. We don't need any more introverted shrinking violets. Love his attitude when he said pick me and I won't let you down. Any rough edges can be smoothed over. Show me anyone who is the full package at that age. -

Don't forget Stretch, Kent, Newton and Michie. -
I thought McCartin was likely after The Saints got rid of Stanley to Carlton leaving them short of tall forwards.

No Neita dont do it. Its not right. Stay away from the dark side.

I've got a cream for that.

Also Max Walker used to play back pocket when resting as a ruck man. As did Brent Jones way back when.

Far too early to make a call like that. The recruiters aren't stupid. They've been watching him for a long time and know what he offers.- 65 replies

Wouldn't mind 12 months pay for not being good enough.
