I have an acquaintance who is a mad (well you sort of have to be) Collingwood supporter. He somehow things we are their bogey team and we will always beat them on QB. Because of this he won’t answer calls or messages for this week from me nor will he engage in any heckling because of the chance that we beat them Its the best build up to a game. I don’t have to put up with his nonsense I hope he is in a corner freaking out this year after our season so far.

I see it as a positive. They now know that if they follow Roos' game plan and play their role for the team they will match it with the best of them. It should give them a bit of the fire in the belly to win.

I actually really like our jumper and dare i say it the bombers and Richmond ones. I think the subtle designs standout more to me then the inyour face ones like Nth Melb and the like.

A little form answer A and a little from answer B No seriously i felt the same as many on here when we signed him.. I was excited of the prospect of having him play in our forward line. I totally underestimated his effect on the whole team tho. Having him in the forward line gives the team direction and lifts them. Im not talking about having just a big body up there. Im always seeing him getting over and talking to the guys after they do something.. its great..

I was unlucky enough to be at a wedding during the game and was unable to watch it. I did keep checking the scores and was getting a bit worried towards the end with the score updates. Yesterday i watched the game knowing the outcome but still i was yelling at the stupid decisions from the umps and i dont know how you all watched/listened to the game live without having a heart attack. I started to get nervous and i knew the result.. It would have been amazing to been there and soak it up. Great game and good to see they boys didnt fold under all that pressure. Go Dees

i still think we will have a better conversion rate this week. All of these are from my opinion and yes my hopes. Im sorry i still have faith in my club.

I think a 28.6% Conversion rate wouldnt happen two weeks in a row.

I don’t think we will cause a upset and take the points this week. BUT i can see us playing better. I don’t think we will give the ball away as much, that is unless we are given a new "clash" jumper with navy blue white and yellow as the colours. Hopefully the kicking for goals improves and it’s not a 6 goal 15 game. Some of the players that showed us something over summer can actually decide to turn up and play Hopefully we don’t get plagued with little injuries like last week No AFL team should be taken lightly regardless of history and last week showed. Maybe we could do the same to the eagles. Im not saying i know anything you guys and girls don’t but i am always positive and looking forward to see my guys play. I don’t know about you but i will be watching it on Sunday with a beer in my hand and a box of tissues ready (for the tears if need..........no suss comments thanks)

my comment was a 'tongue in cheek' comment highlighting the timing of the situation. All of last year was under a cloud for the EFC let alone our players and new even the GC club. My comment was not a "wish for" or indication as to my feelings towards the whole ASADA/EFC/Dank situation. I was lighthartedly trying to bring to the forum the taxing toll this would be to the players and how all of the measures put in place by the players would be brought undone IF that was to occur. If it was happening to the MFC footballers i would feel the same as i do now. I want this thing to be over with. If there are infraction notices then issue them. If there is 'nothing further to answer' then release the findings. It is a complex issue and it will no doubt will continue to be for the remainder of this season and probably will be for seasons to come. I never said anything about the fans of the EFC it was an approach from the players.
