Talk about stats being misleading - we’re down in just about every category including disposals, disposal efficiency, contested possession, uncontested possessions, clearances, marks … Surely the scoreboard attendant is asleep at the wheel.

TdK, Kennedy, Acres … And we lost a couple of our best players within two years of our flag. Their window is wide open. Our’s has shut.

Petty’s ‘one wood’ is his marking. Check his stats - in the games he’s played well he’s had 8-11 marks. I’ve watched him closely (live). He’s rarely in a position to mark when playing forward. I don’t think he knows how to play as a forward - where to lead to, how to work cohesively with he’s fellow forwards etc. He’s not even doing the ‘one percenters’ - tackling, shepherding, chasing. I’ve said it numerous times this year, we’re playing a man short whilst he’s in the team. He needs a kick up the backside via a stint at Casey.

Maybe it's time Brimbank Council adopt the same rules that Greece has. Passport and bag check at all entry points. Problem solved. BTW been to Greece a dozen times. Never scared. Never been to St Albans. Thanks for the heads up.

If we get screwed I would expect the Pies would similarly. Nathan Murphy was re-signed in Feb for three more years post this season. It may have been reported it was only one, but that's not correct. Nathan has been concussed on at least 10 occasions. Furthermore, he was tested by the AFL a few weeks before Gus but ruled out some weeks after Gus.

I wouldn’t be dropping Tommo. He was far from our worst player yesterday. Furthermore, I seem to recall him playing pretty well on KB last year (15 disposals, 10 marks) only to be dropped the following week. He’d remember that and IMO have something to prove.
