NON-MFC: Round 11
Treacy something of a dead-eye Dick - 21.4 this season.

NON-MFC: Round 11
Fair enough. It was in the back and there was dissent.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs St. Kilda
Blind Freddy can see that Petty is all at sea playing as a forward. He's played 7 games as a forward this year, taking a total of 27 marks, a third of those against the Cats. He's kicked 2 goals. He played back against the Hawks in round 2 and did well with 9 marks and 12 disposals. Petty takes Lever's spot and Roo, Langdon and Fullarton come in. Roo does no ruck work. Full time CHF.

NON-MFC: Round 10
I was in charge of the ‘Never say Die Demons’ banner one year. I lived 17 train stops from the MCG. Not an easy task for a 13 year old.

NON-MFC: Round 10
G’day Mal. I caught up with you at the B&F a few years back. You wee with Rose. Friday nights spent tearing up phone books and Saturday mornings raiding every toilet block within a mile of Yarra park stealing toilet rolls. I don’t miss those days one iota. It was freezing cold. 😀

MT64 Cheer Squad pres at the time?

NON-MFC: Round 10
Cheer squads these days are too soft. In the 1960’s we’d sleep overnight at every H&A game* in order to secure seats behind the goals. *not Vic Park or Windy Hill - too dangerous.

NON-MFC: Round 10
I know the set up coz I live 25km from the ground and a heap of my mates are Cats’ members. Whenever they’ve built a new stand they’ve relocated supporter groups, usually to a better spot.

Wowee. Come on Logan. Just need you to goal for my multibet. Got the other 4 legs already.

NON-MFC: Round 10
WCW likely to have an answer. Probably the same reason that the Cats, prior to the new stand being built, had the away cheer squad on the flank. For some reason seats behind the goals are highly sought after. I reckon the GFC were told by the AFL they had to hand over one end (for TV purposes) when the new stand was built.

He’s got a case. It’s the second time in 32 years.

Five highest ranked players are Suns. Holmes next. My guess is that Holmes will get at least 4 coaches’ votes (all from Scott).

PREGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast
BBB can take a ruck contest. No argument. Is he fit enough to play as a ruckman for the 10% of game time Max is in the bench? I wouldn’t have thought so. Furthermore, as I said elsewhere, I doubt this will be the only time we’ll be missing one of our two ruckman. Max injured? JVR injured or reported (again)?

TICKETING 2025
All well and good, but I only want standing room (Southern stand) but I’m forced to pay for a seat. Like finals tickets, you’re only able to purchase a standing room ticket after all seats have been sold. Having access to away games is being eroded more each year. First they scrapped entry to Kardinia Park, sold a game to the NT (no consolation getting free entry to the Hawks game as I already had that) and now more and more games are becoming ticketed. Fewer ‘free’ games but my premium membership goes up in price each year. My tip for KB is 85k - similar to ANZAC eve when there was heaps of space, especially in standing room.

PREGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast
Whilst I agree with most of what you’ve said (BBB and Verrall) I do think it has to be like for like, especially as far as a back-up ruckman. There’s no guarantee we’ll have both Max and JvR for every one of the remaining (17?) games. We need to find a third ruckman, whether it be Verrall, Fullarton, or, heaven forbid, Schache. Furthermore, don’t think you can ‘rest’ a player (Max) on the ground the way the game is played today. Too many attacks start from the backline. All forwards need to play defence at some stage of the game. You can’t chase and tackle if you’re ‘having a break’.

PREGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast
I can’t see Tholstrup getting a call up. We’ve got two tall forwards missing, one who is our back up ruck. Tholstrup isn’t a tall forward let alone a back up ruck. TMac going nicely in the backline so I hope the FD keep him there (with no ruck duties). BBB in you’d think but NFI who fills the other spot.

TICKETING 2025
As a member with Away access I received an email from the club today saying as a ticketed event I would not be able to use my card but I could reserve a ticket. There’s stuff all available. I guess that the CFC reserve the bulk of tickets as the Tigers did initially. If you’re planning to attend and you don’t have MCC or AFL membership it’d be an idea to jump on to Ticketek and see what’s available. Very little I suspect (back rows of Southern and Ponsford and two bays on level one Northern).

COACHES VOTES: Round 09
Not surprisingly our two tall forwards JvR and Petty have polled just one vote. Every chance that’ll be the same come end of season (bar BBB playing a blinder).
