BB spent his last year in the reserves because the gameplan was changed to a style that didn't suit his strengths. Instead of kicking to leads it turned into bombing to packs. I often wonder if Petts or JVR would be more successful if it was put out in front of them instead of bombed in where the loose defender can pick it off or 5 blokes smash into each other

He trained with us in the preseason didn't he but we decided not to take him?

A lot of the time it's caused by tight hammies and glutes. Hopefully a few sessions on the table with the physio will loosen him up

I know of a bunch of folks who got it in the 2nd half of last year. 3 were coworkers in their 20s, 2 were students at our school plus a few family members. Knew directly 7 people who were otherwise young and healthy who got it in the space of about 4 months. Previously I'd only ever known elderly or very ill people to get it. Must have been something getting about causing it

Who kicked the goal over their head and anyone remember what quarter it was? I remember it was up Royal Parade end but that's about it. I'd like to see it again, it was pretty great in person

I was standing between m57/56 and there was a tiges supporter probably around 50yo absolutely sloshed in the 2nd QTR on byo booze. He was seated and ripping into a young kid in front of him at his first game. Had the poor little fella in tears and after they got up to complain to staff I thought they'd left. Old mate was evicted and I bumped into the kid at half time who was still crying and said it'll be right mate, Gawny and Kozzy will light it up second half. Towards the end of the 4th I went to the MCG shop and bought a Dees footy and went over to him and his old man and said for every [censored] fan at the footy there's a thousand good ones and don't let it spoil his first game. It was my first Richmond game in years and that fan's behaviour reminded me why I'd stopped going to the tigers games

Been getting into this young fella from down the Otways of late. Seen him a few times around Melbourne and also up at the Riverboats Music Festival in Echuca. Released his first album this week and it debuted at number 3 on the ARIA country charts above Lee Kernaghan, Keith Urban and Slim Dusty. Not bad for a kid from the bush. Been a while since I've embedded a link so hope this works!
