My partner has played on the same team as a trans woman who was also much bigger than her teammates and opposition. She was just someone who wanted the chance to play again after 20 years away from footy and had to play in the women's league due to legally being female, if females were allowed to play with blokes she would have. To her credit she never used her size to her advantage, never smashed packs, never tackled hard, never wanted to hurt anyone. Just wanted to play the game she loved like everyone else. I think Hannah might be a tad more competitive than her though and not pull out of contests to protect players. I would worry if my partner were playing against her and she said said wouldn't want to play against her either.

My mates from Perth had word last year that Fyfe wanted to come to the Dees, I was on here every 5 minutes last trade season hoping it would happen. Perhaps this year? Why can't someone huge want to come instead of leave? For every rumour that could break our hearts there has to be an opposite rumour that could give us hope

Ahhh I've been waiting for this thread to come up. Will GNF have some cryptic inside knowledge that doesn't pass the fitness test at the 11th hour? Will "The Riddler" return and drop the most confusing amount of clues that goes around in the most ridiculous circles but keeps us all enthralled? Will M. Goatflaps finally find a spot on a senior list?

We were in standing in m56 Sunday and toward the end of the game one of the pie sellers was walking around handing them out for free so they didn't go to waste!

My first reaction was it was a massive dive. I did notice he had a little blood in his mouth so not doubting there was contact but honestly thought it wasn't much more than a tap. Would like to see other angles though as quite often we've seen instances of contact that look a lot worse from a different angle.

Ripper thanks for all your opinions! Seriously can't stand BT, I usually could handle the telly commentary but now it's like the cricket where it just makes me angry. The purchase of the digital radio to cut the lag between the telly and the radio has been fantastic, I look forward to changing commentary teams at will!

I've had to mute the telly, I just can not listen to one more useless BT comment again. I've got a digital radio that is in sync with the telly when you watch, no more 5 second delay between the fm radio and TV coverage. Just wondering who you think is the best radio channel for listening to the footy?

Martin Flanagan has finished up at The Age. I really hope he continues his footy writing elsewhere, he has such a beautiful gift for making you feel like you're there witnessing the sights, sounds and smells of being at the footy. The power of the game, and its people, make me forget about everything else in the world

I've got a few hawks mates who absolutely love going town to the Tassie games. There would be a heap of fans from every team who would love going down there once a year for a game. It would be massive for Tassie tourism
