  1. When did fingering your mate's balloon knot become a thing? I really have no idea why it's done and why people defend it. It's not normal in any way
  2. He's a long straight leading style of forward. Would we be able to hit him on the chest anyways?
  3. He looks like he's bulked up in the glutes and is bottom heavy, just doesn't seem to be moving fluently anymore
  4. I thought he was offered another year but he declined to go home and earn much better money with a job as an engineer or something? I vaguely remember reading something about him saying he set himself the challenge to play top level and he was happy with what he achieved. I also remember the Uber Alex Georgiou Facebook page was a bit funny
  5. Thanks for that. It was a great little riddle to keep us going in an otherwise dull period!
  6. There's a fella currently moving around town finding out. Lets us know what the minimum cost is and how much you get for that. Pretty sure the answer is a lot for not that much https://www.broadsheet.com.au/melbourne/food-and-drink/article/defining-minimum-chips-maximum-mission-melbourne-enthusiast
  7. Do we have to wait 53 minutes until 7.31pm @Yokozuna?
  8. Trade radio reporting his manager just walked into the room. We'll know where he's going shortly
  9. 1. Refurbished one of my eskys to make it much more efficient 2. Learnt how to play Finska and had a lot of fun and beers playing it. 3. Booked our honeymoon to Greece for later in the year, and then later realised it's during the freaking finals. Fmd how could I stuff that up!!!
  10. Hi all, my family want to all go to the Geelong game but none of us have ever been to a game there before. Just wondering if anyone could let me know where the Dees fans usually are. Or which end (North or South) the cheer squad sit and we could go near them perhaps? Cheers
  11. He didn't fail the Freo physical with that foot did he ala Jack Trengove?
  12. Getting married on a few weeks and we're having a cheese cake. 5 wheels of cheese stacked on top of each other. Can't bloody wait to cut into it!
  13. There's a few familiar surnames in that team. Hopefully we get a few games on NITV over the summer so I can tune in
  14. Don't have enough words to describe this guy. He's a superstar on and off the field in my eyes
  15. Draw, then Pies by 1 in extra time. Sidebottom for Norm. The big Texan for 1st goal
  16. I'm still waiting for The Riddler to return with the rumour we're finally giving that rookie spot to M. Goatflaps. I seriously love this time of year
  17. Perhaps Gawn/Preuss will be the third tall behind TMac and Weid?
  18. Very much look forward to seeing our total team votes. Rarely get a player in double figures let alone near the leaderboard!
  19. Ha just in the back bar of the pub. I wanted the photo in front of the big John Belushi and gopher Caddyshack photo but the lighting over the jack dancer stick machine was brighter!
  20. The Robbie Jumper. When I was a little tacker Robbie was my hero. From birth I was given his badge and frequently told about the beauty of his game. I went to many of his games but unfortunately was too young to remember (although I do remember watching the smoothest one handed mark in an EJ Whitten Legends game years later). Growing up even though he'd retired when asked who my favourite player was "Robbie" was my answer, the legend of the man had become a part of me. Dad's mate Brian was a banker and looked after Robbie in the days when he founded Sportsco. One day he asked if Robbie could get him some jumpers for his mate's kids. Being the amazing person he was Robbie gave us all guernsey, although they were all massive adult sized ones that went down to our ankles! This blank, woolen with collar, never been worn Dees guernsey was at Mum and Dad's for 25 years until I found it in a box earlier this year. I found a fella in Fitzroy who'd recreated the VFL logo patch. I got a sew on number 2 at Buffalo Sports in my street, I redesigned the original Drake sponsor's logo and got a guy in Pakistan to make it into an embroidery file for $7 and found a local mob embroider it. Today Damien the tailor from the laundromat on Brunswick Road sewed them all on. The jumper is complete, just like Robbie's was in the 1987 finals series. Tonight I am extremely happy. Tomorrow night I will wear it to the MCG and I hope to keep on wearing it until we will win that final that escaped Robbie's grasp.
  21. So without a development league where do the fellas on our list who aren't up to scratch to play seniors at Casey play?
  22. When a ruck rover goes goal for goal against Jakovich and ends up with 8 for the day it's pretty exciting
  23. 1. Jakovich 2. Pre knee Ox 3. Jurrah 4. Wiz 5. Sean Charles 6. Robbo 7. Howe 8. Flash 9. Stinga 10. Chopper Lovell Interesting that 4 of my top 5 were cruelled by injury and never reached their full potential. Jakovich potentially could have been up in the top goalkickers of all time, bloke was immense. Pre knee Ox was unbelievable. So agile and such a high flier. We only got a glimpse of it, he could have changed the game. A totally different player to the bullocking forward we saw for the majority of his career. Jurrah not much needs to be said. An absolute freak of the game. I've never been to a another game when the roar and electricity in the crowd would rise when the ball was 50m away from a player but you knew they were going to do something special. And Sean Charles, another what could have been. As a young fella I was devastated he couldn't fix that wrist. Imagine if we had the medical/physio teams we have today, we could have won a lot more in the 90s!
  24. I went to one of the preseason games at Casey and they had him start in the guts for the first 5 mins of each quarter before drifting forward. Had his hands on it every bounce, I can see what you see there
  25. Ok then let's go with a non midfielder. Watts has 13 Brownlow votes from 153 games. Jesse Hogan has 14 Brownlow votes from 51 games.
