Sylvia---- he never dominates across half forward--- if he continues like this then he'll never end up as anything.

WHY NOT TRY HIM IN THE MIDFIELD. for christs sake just give him a go.

If anywhere Id give him a spell on a half back flank..where his ability to mark ( and he can ) is useful to get the ball onto a linkup player heading down the guts....Might also teach him accountability

The team as a whole played much better than last week which was improvement on week before. Rivers understandably not 100% touch in first game for long while!

Wheatley, Morton, PJ and Austin Wona all positivies. Cam Brue and Brock also beenfiting from game time.

For once we lost the hit outs but did well overall in the rucks.

Worry is still the turnovers. 2 out of bounds on the full in 1st qtr when no pressure. Nath carrols bad hand pass and at least 3 goals ( 2 by hawkins) whn Melb defenders failed to punch tha ball tru the goals when kicked to within 2-3 feet by the Cats.

In 2nd and last qtr countless times ball marked uncontested by cats defenders. However clear where further improvement to come from. OUr main worries going forward are our senior forwards. (Neither Neita or Robbo are having any effect after 3 rounds!!!)

I only saw the 2nd hald and two worst clangers I saw were (a) Jeff white stopping and letting Moooey come in and mark the ball 15 metres from goal and (B) the Brad Green kick for gaol which was given a point - where the defender touched the ball behind the goal post (WTF!!!)

BB - not sure why you recommended switching to ABC radio. I had to suffer it in first half travelling back to Melbourne and in one 5 minute spell in 2nd qtr the commentator didnt mention a MFC player by name. They , MFC etc. They were crap all day. Morfett's classic when Cats kicked 4th goal at about 20min mark. . The cats are back in front !!! Had never led !Melb scored first 2goals before cats scored a behind!

Tony, I agree. Between the pathetic coodabeens, morphett and lonergan they are almost impossible to listen to. I remember morphett celebtraing a blues win two years ago against melbourne, and he just rolled out all the usual crap. Muppet.
