Downloaded the radio interview and was wondering what the fuss what about - that's until I got to the 21 minute, 50 second mark. That's when Bartlett has a real crack at us Melbourne Members/Suporters - what a dill KB is. It just goes to prove how ignorant and out of touch he is.

His involvement on the rules committe is the reason why no-one understands any of the rules of the AFL anymore!

GARDINER handled himself admirably.

am i the only one upset at this?

Anyone going to call tomorrow ?

Don't worry 'mousey', I reckon that we are all stunned, nonplussed @ the moment & waiting for this 6 week period before the footy dep't makes it's findings.

some of us thought that under a new coaching team all would be well & we'd be in the finals. I'm OK because I haven't had the same opptimism with this list nor the attitude of the current leaders of our club, so that for me makes this an exiting time.

Dr Turf is a smart guy who I understand does well at the horses by sound judgement & thorough knowledge. He has lost at least one job I know of because he will not be censored and tow the station line. Yes, sometimes he should be a bit more diplomatic. However he speaks with genuine passion about the Demons and the stuff he said has substance. We don't want to hear what he is saying because we see it as criticism but there is a time to get emotional. It all sounds very good to say "This is the time we should be united" but what does that mean? Isn't this the time to show our passion for the club? When Bartlett says that Turf is the only passionate Melbourne supporter, he's trying to stir the supporters up. Sure he wants the ratings but he wants us to fire up for the club like the Kangaroo fans did. I'm hearing people reacting against Turf but then saying they want to ring in and be another passionate supporter to be counted with Turf. Huh?

If I was a crap board member, I'd be saying it's time to be united (behind me) as well. If there was ever a time for desperate measures, how much worse would it have to be.

In 2 weeks Paul Wheatley turns 27. We will have, I believe, not one player aged 25 or 26. The older players are generally falling apart and the younger aren't upto to it - at least not yet. If you think this year is "interesting", just wait till next year. If we start running losses again, I don't think the AFL will let MFC die. But if another team like the Kangaroos starts to falter, they will certainly do the sums for a forced merger. And if they add up - they have a history of forcing things the way they want them.

Turf isn’t the problem. Bartlett isn’t the problem. Not “pulling together” isn’t the problem. (We could use more people pulling.) Our public laundry isn’t the problem. If there is a problem, denying it ain’t the answer.

I'm new at this so if I have erred please excuse.

Paul Gardner is living with the fairies and so is anyone who really thinks that our list is up to scratch. Last year Paul was asked whether the current list would win a premiership. He answered without hesitation "yes".

We have continued to recruit the wrong type of player for years.; both in character and ability.

Question: why have so many of our top administrators left of late. There is something crook in Tallarook. The Board should resign and a new one elected with an equal no. of Fottball and bisiness experts.

I am really [censored] off that we haven't won a Premiership since the heady days of 1964( which I was privileged to witness). MFC get your act together or I will one day walk ovet to the "Victory"

Paul has always sugar coated his world. It's no surprise he thought that, or said that. He's a PR guy that talks a good game. After 2 bad defeats, everyone is pointing fingers. Because Paul is at the head of the club, he will be the most obvious target. Hold tight and try to see the bigger picture. Bailey is trying to achieve something extraordinary, part of that is exposing what is ordinary. We'll get there, just have a little faith and be prepared to feel the pain if you want the pleasure.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
