I'm not sure how many (if any) players with limited preseasons so my list looks a little different.

Certainties:

Bell, Carroll, Green, Robertson, Neitz, Davey, Moloney, McLean, Jones, McDonald, White,

Probables:

Wheatley, Buckley, Miller, Dunn, Petterd, PJ,

Possibles:

Bruce, Rivers, Newton, Batram, Frawley, Morton, Jamar, Meesen, Garland, Bode, Yze, Holland, CJ

Of the possibles I'd have the first five to round out the 22. I wouldn't have Yze simply because his form and disposal in the pre-season has been ordinary.

that leaves a side that looks like this:

Bell, Carroll, Bartram

Wheatley, Miller, Rivers

Dunn, McDonald, Moloney

Bruce, Newton, Robertson

Davey, Neitz, Green

White, McLean, Jones

Petterd, Buckley, PJ, Frawley

On paper our lineup actually looks pretty good!

I am not overly concerned with our pre-season form, and the fact that everyone is tipping us to finish bottom couple is just a joke!

We all saw what teams like Port Adelaide and The Kangas did last season after a horror 2006....

Giving up hope this close to Round 1 is just [censored] weak!

I have faith that we will push for a finals birth this season and no matter what any so called "experts" may say, I will not be changing my mind until I truly believe otherwise!

The first 5 or 6 rounds will give us a good indication of where we are heading for 2008, but just remember what the boys can do when they get a bit of confidence about them..... All is not lost!

Bring this $hit on baby!!!!

I'm interested to see who will be the back-up ruckman, who will play in Rivers' absence (almost certain he won't be rushed back into the side), and whether Yze will get a game.

Finally it's here... can't wait till Sunday!!!

My big call for round 1 is Dunn on Franklin.

It just looks so right.

Also, a nice side note that accoring to finalsiren.com the hawks best players vs Melbourne over the last five games are many of the same players they are now missing, including Jacobs, Brown, Hodge and Crawford. Franklin doesn't have a record of firing against us.

What we have to really watch is bloody Mark Wlliams. C'mon Belly, nail him to the turf!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
