Just a couple of quick questions regarding Sunday Night's showpiece.

Are you going? Yes

Crowd? 21,334

Who will win? Melbourne by 26

Which camp are you in - Winning or tanking

If Richmond win on the weekend, then Kruezer is on the table for both clubs, so I'd hope we'd lose. However if Richmond lose (more likely) then I hope we go out and belt the blues, and enjoy a rare evening out at the footy.

Wonder how many more Carlton players will pull out, lot of flu around at the moment 2,3..4

Are you going? Of course

Crowd? 29,813

Who will win? Melbourne by 83 points

Which camp are you in - Winning or tanking Tanking

Im going,

26,000

Melb by 28 poinys

If the Tigers win, Tanking camp

I never miss a game in Melbourne.

But I must admit, the atmosphere is going to be very odd. I wouldn't be surprised if half the Melbourne fans that turn up will be barracking for the Blues.

Are you going? yes

Crowd? 17,517

Who will win? Draw

Which camp are you in - Tank, tank, tank. More so to screw Carlton than favour ourselves

Are you going? I have every intention to, but it honestly depends on how I pull up from the night before. Thank god it's a twilight match

Which camp are you in - I'm on board Thomas the Tank Engine

Could only see Tigers getting up if Crows roll Pies and Saints lose interest. Tigers could not beat Saints if they are playing for finals. If above happens I will feel sick knowing that tankers will get 1 and 2 in the draft and 1 in PSD. If that happens look for an old man throwing up in the AFL members on ground level near the old coaches box.

Are you going? yes

Crowd? 23,000

Who will win? Melbourne 78 points (Newton to kick 7)

Which camp are you in? Read my name: NO TANK!

[Edit]I would be less unhappy if we lost as long as Richmond lose, i cannot accept being wooden spooners this year, even if it does get us Kruezer. It'd just be funny to see Carlton miss out on their PP.

I am going

I am hoping for a 100 point win

And that Kreuzer turns out to be a dud

I'm going. Sunday night is terrible though - the crowd will be even lower than it otherwise would be.

Which camp are you in - Winning --> 3rd pick will still be a good one

Which camp are you in - Winning --> 3rd pick will still be a good one

That would be 4th pick.

1........Carlton (PP) Kreuzer

2........Richmond Cotchin (damn, i really wanted him)

3........Carlton Morton

4........Melbourne Hopefully Brad Ebert

Melbourne really need pace and class in the mid-field. With that in mind, and with Cotchin gone no doubt before our pick, we should go after Brad Ebert. Why??? Because he runs hard, has got a big tank, has a big body, has a big kick, shows great leadership, has class and skill and he has some dash about him too.

Whilst Cotchin may be more silky and ooze class, Ebert goes in a bit harder and is a bit quicker i think (but trials will tell all). If we are able to off-load a big name (ala Trav, Bruce, etc) during trade week and gain another top 10 pick (unlikely i know) it will lessen the effect of not having a higher pick if we lose to Carlton.

Are you going? Yes

Crowd? 15,564

Who will win? Demons by 115 - Newton to snag 9

Which camp are you in - WINNING

Am I going ?.....YES try keeping me away

Crowd .... a pathetic 25989 ( father's day)

Winning team....Mighty Demons by 34 points

Tank/Win.....Only one way to go "WIN"

Passionate and Loyal to the end...GO DEES

I am definitely going (so excited), however I have just realised that I haven't paid my MCC yet and the first cut off was.. well.. yesterday.

So can someone direct me to where the MFC members can sit as I haven't sat there at all this year?

Just to save a bit of time..

Thanks :)

and I'm saying NO to the tank - go Dees!

That would be 4th pick.

Good point, and I agree with Ebert being our pick.

Are you going? No, this situation is humiliating and insulting to us members.

Crowd? 12,500

Who will win? Melbourne by 60

Which camp are you in - Tanking. We cant afford to miss out on pick 2,18,19.

The fact that we are going to win this game is very upsetting. There is a big difference between pick 2,18,19 compared to 4 and 20. A complete waste of a season.

Why??? This match has absolutely no meaning at all, thanks to Dimitriou's farcical bonus for the cheating tanking Blues.

They wll be lucky to get 12,000 I reckon.

Won't even listen.

No interest whatever in the result - if we win will it be due to CFC's cheating??? If they win, we will be the accused.

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons have the Bye next week but then are on the road once again when they come up against the Gold Coast Suns on the Gold Coast in what could be a last ditch effort to salvage their season. Who comes in and who comes out?

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
