Probably true enough, it probably also shows how high he was regarded by supporters at the time, then he chased the dollars. Yep, that's how I see him too. I'm old enough to remember him leaving and I don't really give a rat's clicker about it at all as long as he can give really good footy insights to the game as an expert commentator.

He can't. He finds a couple of things to gripe about and then bangs away about it most games.

I look at how much I'm paying for Kayo and then look at the wall of commentators at every game and just wonder why we need them all.

I want someone who can fill in the gaps and provide insight when I'm sitting at home interstate watching the footy.

I don't think GH provides that.

Personally, while I don't think Langford has really fully hit his straps this season and/or has progressed massively in his 2nd year as we might have ideally have loved, I think the kid is doing OK and his kicking is one of the last things I'd hold against him.

On the flip side, both Gerard and Brad Johnson, seemed to be onto the fact that Kade Chandler is fast becoming one of the quality players in the competition for what he does and I do wholeheartedly agree with that assessment.

Anyways, back to the point, I know Gerard was a player that Mark Jackson couldn't stand and I've got to say, I think I understand why. Smug and arrogant. At least his brother blead red and blue.

The kid's having a ripping year, his disposal can be poor at any times, and he has no right side. But he's also still playing great footy, give a couple more years to work on his disposal craft and high speed running and then the sky's the limit.

Gerard is Gerard. That won't change. But Harvey is a highly coordinated athlete. That's his one wood. And just as the pasta flogger has shown, players of his ilk can hone those skills so that a weakness transforms into a strength.

Add his "special" comments and he's clearly a guy who drinks his own bath water and for the life of me I can't understand why. Tool of the highest order.

I heard him asked once which footy club he feels closest to and he said something like 'You lean towards the one you had the most success at'.

Given that he won his Brownlow with the Swans I always just took that how it came across.

It wasn't so much about being sensitive or against one of ours being potted, was more that it seemed like a disproportionately big evaluation being made from a small sample size and that was way off the mark.

Look, in all fairness, perhaps the one being a bit disproportionate about things here is also me, because maybe it wasn't something that deserved it's own thread, but there was just something about that assessment that he'd made and that he kept banging on about it, that got under my skin.

I just wouldn't worry what healy thinks about Langford, he just can't believe how good he is, and is just jealous

In the radio call of the Geelong/Bulldogs game he said Jeremy Cameron could "go beyond double figures". Would have been a tremendous achievement.
