PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond

Featured Replies

Jeffo definitely gets another crack.

He showed glimpses of improvement last year and each time Goody dropped him.

we need to be patient. I think he gets somewhat intimidated on the big stage.

He needs to play.... especially games like this to build his confidence.

This guy will surpass Jvr.

If Lynch plays, so should TMac.

Glad to see that the thug Nankervis isn't playing. He usually tries to assault Max.

X. Taylor ... needs to adapt to the faster pace of AFL. Probably good for him to get another run, this time against a weaker team.

Heath ... definite yes from me. Even though Richmond's ruck stocks are depleted.

Is McAdam still on our list? If so, has he been playing for Casey?

Mcadam was 2-3 weeks away on injury report last week but the new injury report that came out last night now has him at TBC

100%

Richmond’s social media account on Facebook just popped up about tickets for Anzac Eve. The match is not a fully ticketed game so all home members (away members with ga access for dees) can scan their membership card and don’t need to reserve a ticket

Whats the latest on Petty? Would not think he would play for a considerable amount of time!

That is a interesting call!

I'm a big wrap on Jeffo too, showed some very cool nimble stuff...great mark and field kicking, just shame he sprayed that set shot.

I think he's starting to present like a proper player, seems to have some good skills.

MFC advertising 2 for 1 GA tickets for the game on FB

must be far from sold out

bizarre that ticketek wouldn’t let me buy GA tickets a few days ago. Would have lost some gate

Do you have a link to this? I can't see it in on their FB story or on their posts.

This is so bizarre to me. There was virtually no tickets available on Sunday according to Ticketek, and now this. Strange.

Sorry, not very tech savvy. here is a pic of the Ad. I clicked the link and it took me to Ticketek. Q 11-14 and Q50s have seats available

We were supposed to be dead keen on Cumming last November

Apparently we were keen to draft him too

Intimidated? By what? If that's the case, he's a bust

Looking at his social media, the Richmond boys have nicknamed him ‘rag’ 😂

We've had a habit of having young talls 'breakout' in this match over the years.

Jesse Hogan in 2015 when he did a number on Alex Rance.

JVR in 2023 with his three goal final quarter.

Disco Turner in 2024 in his first game as a forward kicking three.

Based on that logic, I'm backing in Matty Jefferson for a few snags this weekend.

Harrison petty 6 goals? Look destined to be a star key forward. Roo 5 too

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
