Club has a live video on Instagram.

The blurry screenshot reads ‘You voted, it’s back’ and to no one’s surprise the silver won.

Somebody has to be "that guy" and it looks like it's going to be me. 😁

It's a footy jumper or a guernsey. Rugby players wear jerseys.

YUCKKKKK!

Footscray could get away with wearing that.

Doesn’t look very ‘Melbourne’ to me

100% it’s the one AMW is wearing

The three proposed options were all terrible, but at least the first one has red and blue.

How long before the AFL just makes all the away teams wear their "official" gather round jumper?

Getting bad 2008 vibes seeing those jumpers.

Not a fan of this year's Gather Round options. However I loved our red clash jumper we wore against Freo and would like to wear it more often this season.

The AFL have decreed that Round 8 each year is to be designated Normal Round in recognition of absolutely nothing and to get into the spirit of things we're planning on wearing the following snazzy number.

And we will be the away team against Essendon and not be allowed to use it.

My primary school was very big on the then British Empire. It seeped into the curriculum more widely.

I fondly remember the alderneys, sarks and herms we wore for gym.

Actually no, that's not the case. Normal Round will allow for every team to wear their original guernsey irrespective of whether it clashes with their opponent or not. In fact it will actively be encouraged. Port Adelaide have even asked Eddie for permission to wear their prison bar guernsey if they're drawn to play Collingwood.

I’m sure there’s a cream for these.

I liked the white jumper with the MFC logo on it, just me

Tbh I don’t like any of them haha

But zooming in at the photo yeah it’s definitely AMW one. Guess we’ll see what it looks like on!

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
