Worth a look?

Possibly why the Max Health deal has hit a snag?

Heath deal hasn't hit a snag, I think it'll happen sometime next week when all our other affairs are in order Re Petracca, Oliver, May if he goes.

How does Ivan Doldo get his own bloody thread on this forum…

No thanks.

Hahaha don't be harsh mate

We have nothing to talk about on the other Threads lol

Worse case scenario for Heath is PSD or DFA. It can’t be snagged. He’s not good enough for a snag

The only snag this deal has hit, is Tim Lamb is currently caught up doing this with Gold Coast/Trac/Humphrey's management

True but Soldo is now available.

Well, that's not true, because Derksen wasn't good enough to be snagged either and was. But this will get done. I hear he's excited to join.

So is Heath

He will be made a Demon when Tim Lamb has a spare 10 minutes to throw 2 cans of diet Coke at St Kilda and get his paperwork lodged

Low hanging fruit

I reckon we rushed the Judd deal as we may need to use the pick we got in return for a Humphrey/Trac deal

We lost interest in Derksen either due to his contract, injury or the new coach simply not valuing him. He’s yet to find a new suitor. There’s no indication trade price was the issue.

Heath apparently has a contract locked in. The trade is largely a formality and if it doesn’t happen we’ll get him anyway.

I'm talking about last year. When GWS blocked his trade.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
