Every proposed trade that the media is putting out there comes with the caveat that he is off the table.

Every story about Trac, Oliver, Merrit & Curnow is about them wanting out and their photos are splashed about as the big names moving. If Bailey was also in the mix to be a serious mover this trade period he would also be talked about in this way yet he is not.

It is simply not going to happen just because we wish it were so.

As I've said last week my guess is that to force the issue is Lamb comes out today and says we love Trac, he is a superstar and we are more than happy for him to stay. This opens the door for the Humphrey strong trade request wither publicly or to GC privately.

What's the in the background:

1. Trac wants to leave

2. We want him gone

3. We are really [censored] at him for telling GC we will fold in trade for BH

4. GC have a lot of marketing/sponsorship already committed around Trac

5. BH wants to come to Melb

Sounds more like wishful opinion of what is happening, rather than what is actually happening. Appreciate you giving updates, but it feels like you are stringing a few along with 'sources' that you won't reveal. It is extremely unlikely Humphrey deal is back on. Happy to be proven wrong though.
