Well on that, he and I agree.

If we wanted a player who just blocks and 'falls' on other players all the time we could build our own.

In that case he might get along well with Judd McVee - who according to wikipedia - is a well known eft wing activist:

McVee was drafted by Melbourne with their first selection and eighteenth overall in the 2022 rookie draft.[2] He made his debut in the fifty point win to Western Bulldogs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the opening round of the 2023 season.[3] He wore number 41 in his first two seasons, until changing to 4 before season 2024.

He is a well known left-wing activist with ties to The Australian Greens, frequently campaigning for the minor party. [4]

Please explain what does a 34 year old mediocre one dimensional ruckman bring to a team who already has Campbell and that other old guy who plays ruck and is kinda good at it. Won like 8 AA jackets and stuff. You might know him.

And for the love of god donโ€™t tell me we can make him a key position forward. The man had a total of 3 goals and 4 marks inside 50 this year. And just to prove Iโ€™m not a total hater, he took a whopping 14 marks inside 50 last year for a grand total of 6 goals.

I would rather burn my eyes with acid than watch Cox in a Melbourne jumper.

I was being a little facetious.

Positively vomit inducing.

I agree with all of the vomit emojis here. No. N dont need him, dont want him, dont rate him. Seeing him in our jumper would make me barf. Would make me seriously question our club and their plan.

This is the worst thing to ever appear on the trade board.

In any event, he's only 5'11".

It's been those vertical stripes.

In one of the more bizarre moments in my Demonland journey, I just noticed that the claim of McVee's political activism has a 'reference' which points back to Demonland's 'Welcome to Judd McVee' thread, which contains no such inferences.

Everyone go donate to wikipedia. Cleaning the cobwebs out takes time and we need to keep their staff in place or we'll end up with wikAIpedia and we're all stuffed then.

For some reason, that caught me off guardโ€”itโ€™s crazy. I mean, obviously I know enough to realise that Wikipedia isnโ€™t a reliable source and people edit it, but adding Demonland as a citation is hilarious. If people took half of the things we say on here as fact, just one Wikipedia page would confuse the hell out of people.

Dont you love it when they change the Title or possibly move the thread and your jump to unread pages goes to page 1, post 1.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

Itโ€™s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle โ€“ perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
