The venue I'm at is having the old 'Oh no Kayo isn't showing it, we'll have to create a 7+ account' moment.

The only time of the year I have to watch the Ch7 broadcast and think to myself how did we ever put up with Ch7 commentary on the Fox games.

Gee it will be exciting when we make it here one day

I’ll be a senior citizen (and I’m only in my 30’s)

It really is odd that BT gets a gig on any media platform, he is hard work to listen to.

Uncle Colin does a good job at the Welcome to Country. He’s respectful, educational, and has one of this country’s great beards.

it's "young and free" not "one and free"

get the bloody words right

Apparently "young" is discriminatory. Or something.

I am far more offended by the butchers apron on the colonial flag and having a non-Aussie as head of state.

Um it's actually not. It got changed a couple of years ago

Cmon Geelong, what happens to them today could quite significantly help our recruitment for next year if Kingy gets the win.

Maybe a Pauline Hansen fan??

I was about to comment that the umpires were keeping out of it - then bang, bang.

Random question.

Anyone know where the TAB is in the mcc? It used to be on level 4.

Annoying thing is Dempsey was my pick. Ugh

Umpiring is always more conservative at GF, so they get involved less in the play. What cant they have approach all year.

Teams usually rue those early misses in a GF.

Had Bailey for first goal

kicked 2 behinds

cool cool cool cool

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
