Personally reckon the Lions prep for the GF is better than the Cats.

Cats 2 games in 4 weeks

Lions battle hardened and coming off two excellent wins

I expect a narrow Lions win. McLuggage the key. only 14 touches in the last final with the Cats

I'm looking at each supporter base thinking one of you will be gutted today & thinking if this was Melbourne I'd be a nervous wreck.

Must admit I'm not a rap music person but I didn't think that was baker boy either. Not sure how how much the afl paid him but it was 1 song.

He's improved out of sight from his early work. The latest batch of singles have been really good.

Snoop Dogg is better than I expected too. Not at all a fan of rap/hip hop, but this is listenable.

I can't understand why Geelong are such short priced favourites. Brisbane won last year and are only getting better. Atkin is an underated weapon at Geelong and Dangerfield who somebody's next door neighbours auntoy had a really good riddle about him coming the Melbournecant back up.

Brisbane have more weapons.

I was open to Snoop performing today since he has conducted himself well since arriving but this pre-game stuff is awful Americanised rubbish.

A mix of marching bands, cheerleaders and dance groove. Utterly underwhelming and a cultural cringe from the AFL.

Dillon, no doubt, will say it's the best yet.

The guy is 53. He hasn't taken a breath & has gone from song to song. He had swagger & bought out Jess malbuoy & had the crowds attention.

He has been pretty good all week & I'm not a rap fan but I'd say it was pretty good

I wonder if Snoop just brought the same entertainment / routine he used for the superbowl

It really did not fit well here though I agree

Not a patch on Robbie Williams, but that was a pretty good show. Loved the pyrotechnics. Snoop was Snoop. Busted out some token local talent. Colour and movement. Very solid job.

As a spectacle not bad at all.

Watching the UK stream on TNT Sports (no censoring) from what I could understand which was little

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
