Whether they are successful or not in poaching CAC this is the perfect chance for the club to develop and invest in our recruiting department.

Currently one of the most underfunded in the league we need to move forward.

IMO we should do our best to keep CAC, and by increasing his budget for recruiting might be a way of doing that.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

I believe CAC is keen to see the club move into it's new home, as well as watch some of the younger players develop. I think CAC will see the new era at the club as one worth hanging around in.

This same thing came up about five years ago. People think Craig is a Richmond man - dad played there, baracked for them as a kid etc - therefore he's always mentioned when there is change at Tigerland (ie very frequently).

Same logic for Kevin Sheedy.

Don't think he's going anywhere.

Possibly the most important position in the FD apart from, and maybe includiong , the senior coach.

He was contracted for 3 years last year, knowing the senior Coach got an extra year. He's not stupid and undertsands what responsibility is IMO, and probably didn't sign up lightly.

Typical Tiges - idiots with no understanding how a real business should run. Contracts aren't meant to be broken.

CAC is in charge of list management, but isn't one of our major problems an overrated list? Sure his drafting has been ok, but nothing special when compared to other teams, also our poor history of drafting KPP's must also be taken into consideration.

It would be interesting to see what his reputation would be like here if he never posted on this forum.

I think he has done a good job. He has improved as the years have rolled by. This year we are likely to have a few good picks so they must be used wisely. Better no change ATM.

Also we have a number of developing KPP's - Dunn, Newton, Frawley and Garland - all with potential. Miller is at Sandy ATM and Rivers injured.

We need a quick gun mid which we should get if we finish low enough to receive a good pick.
