GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne

Jefferson's kicking, although inaccurate, is good technique, the ball spins correctly, and goes mainly in a straight line. This is refreshing. He is showing us his work rate and potential today. He now needs size to combat the like of Harris Andreas or Sam Taylor.

Lever is a worry and reckon he is abut 70% fit.

Lots of young players on both teams, so I reckon skills will drop from exhaustion in the last quarter.

Unusual for us to kick the junk time goal. PS a terrible insufficient intent decision.

Huh? Clear as day.

Melksham is the guy

Yeah but he's not the future

Need some multiple goals from a few others.

Nice to see Chin with two

Amazing what happens when you kick to space and advantage.

Bowey's kick was a ripper. Putting it in a place only his man could get it

We are winning more out of depth of talent than effort. We would want to start this quarter strong as they are playing with better energy than us.

Jeffo starting to show some signs.

Kolt not so much.

Its great to see him making a contest but his goal kicking has been shocking. But certainly an improvement and hopefully he will improve his shots on goal

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
