For anyone watching

how is Culley going?

Good VFL player but not AFL quality imo

Surprised how poor the standard is, wouldn’t hold their own against a decent suburban team, absolutely hopeless.

Menthol and Kentfield , not up to it.

Early call, brave call. Really a glass half empty and it was corked sort of call.

More promising signs from some of our Casey boys. It is always difficult to clearly see what might transfer from VFL to AFL, but Adams and Howes are AFL ready, while Verrall, Yze, Kentfield, and Fullerton showing signs of strong development.

Hardie is a "watch this space".

Watch it on your phone. On the aFL app

I’ll fess up and say that I am a Howes believer. BUT I must say how much I have loved his development and watching his maturity tonight.

Young players who can go back to VFL and clearly look a level above are in short supply at the MFC. Howes has time, good hands, great mobility and decent skills. With more experience that will continue to translate to AFL.

Ah the soccer ball training just paid off for JB14 😁

Laurie ain’t vanilla blue collar tackle.

Great team goal JB soccer skills!

Showtime at Whitten Oval Sharp special!

Pinpoint pass from Luker

Double up Sharpie!

It’s nice to be on the right end of a thumping

Cutting them to pieces now.

Is Laurie playing at a level to get promoted to the ones?

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
