You could make an argument that the loss to St Kilda was worse than the North game in round 2, given what was at stake and how talent-less St Kilda is.

Saints, Bombers, Kangas how the [censored] did we lose those 🤬

So annoying watching the saints get pumped. The loss to the pies, as hard as it was given we could have won it, would have been easier to take had we just beaten the saints as pretty much every other decent team does!!! We’d only be a game and percentage out of the 8, and i think we can beat port this week.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHH 😤

Yep, but that's Melbourne for you

We lost to the saints and kangas because we are an average, inconsistent team. If we have an off day we can be beaten by any team in the league.

You’re welcome

And we lost to that rabble. Unbelievable !

Yep. Damage has been done though, they played their game for the year against us, and we handed them the win on a silver platter filled with points!!!

Pretty sure Saints beat Geelong, Port, and Fred as well.

Ross does [censored] like that – puts together a tactic that catches oppositions off guard. Even if the coaches are aware of what’s happening, it’s difficult to make the playing group aware before quarter time at the very earliest.

Just over 20,500 in attendance last night.

Where’s the noise???

Absolutely convinced St Kilda have the worst list in the league.

Yes but they beat us like a drum.

So if the players are poor. Is their coach so much better than ours.

crows seem to have a big height advantage v the hawks defence

that tackle was all the better because it was watson that got nailed

Bellerive and Launceston truly are footy dumps.

I am finding it harder and harder to watch other games this season. The umpiring is atrocious but the AFL will keep their heads in the sand.

Gee adelaide will be filthy they've let hawthorn back in it.

On a side note I watched unfiltered with Hamish Wednesday night with CJ as his guest. Fascinating story with his family and growing up in a war torn country and walking for days to get to a refugee camp.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
