Sorry DJ I should have said Preston no idea where Coburg came from. The joy of the ageing process well that is my excuse. And I know where both are.

Where is the ground in relation to the Preston R S?

Blowing a gale to the right of screen end. Bullants three goals unanswered.

Kicking in danger rewarded by dubious goal.

Casey absolutely asleep at the wheel concede 30 points.

Without a doubt the Bullants coach has told them at 3/4 time... forget the scoreboard... go back.to basics ... win the quarter.

Casey ...bit rocky have gone to sleep

Despite scoreboard, some very average efforts by AFL players out there .

Just my obs...

Carry on

Jeffo another good tackle inside 50 and he kicks 5.

Good signs.

JEFFO showing some mongrel goal!!!!!

JVR gets an unkind bounce heading to goal, sums up his form.

Jeffo gets a free kick for holding the ball and kicks numero five

Tholstrup shown any signs today ?

Hasn't done much wrong but nothing that stood out. Just the 11 touches and 5 tackles.

Umpire knocked down by Bill. Bullants getting run of frees?

Bullant buried in tackle (literally).

Cream gets one to stick.

Billings rises chest mark. Hits the post.

Stalemate

Stuff up concedes easy goal in defence.

Blow the siren

Casey defending 10 goal lead

Just…

Cream puts cherry 🍒 on top.

That fella Baldi should garner interest at mid season draft

Gee koltyn not exactly knocking down the door for a senior return. I wonder how much work jonsey does with him at training.

Van rooyen also a concern. Hopefully he gets his mojo back soon.

last half of this quarter has left a lot to be desired tbh

casey have left a 3 figure margin on the table

jvr now has 2 goals 3 as the siren goes, but i think the big callout for his game is the 13 marks, at least 5 or 6 of which have been contested

Some slack arses playing for Casey eh...

Cream puts cherry 🍒 on top.

JVR kicks lucky last after the siren.

Casey 17 goals 19 behinds

Bullants 7 goals 8 behinds

If you mean Preston Railway station it's just across the road.

Jai Culley did not appear in second half. (To my re-collection.) Managed or injury?

he is an emg for tmr

Left at 3/4 time.

Overall not a great spectacle. Too much crowded scrambly play with Casey far too powerful but rarely able to get clear.

Casey now has too many tall forwards and then you add in Verrall and TC. A complete absence of any organised crumbing from any small/medium.

In a game made for Tholstrup he didn't excel.

Sat at half forward so didn't really see the back players. Suffice to say they took lots of marks.

Casey did a lot of switching of play but it was often too slow and without real purpose.

Jefferson may well have shone but JVR is going backwards based on today's opposition. One other thing given our surplus number of talls he didn't appear to get any chance to practice his ruck craft.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
