This will need to be updated to reflect the contract extensions of Purcell and Pisano, the inactive status of Hose, and the addition of Ebert :)

Just been announced Georgia Campbell has extended her contract until end 2027. I have a feeling they're in the process of extending contracts, so maybe we need to hold off for a bit!!!! 😂

The other inactive is Aimee Mackin while she's still recovering from her ACL. It's why we have Denby Taylor.

That's great news, I was going to post that she would be one we really need to lock in.

So much potential...

Tyla Hanks seems to have already been around forever but at the end of her contract in two years time, she’ll still have at least six more years of good footy in front of her. How good is that! Could get to 150 games. Actually same with Liv Purcell who will also only be 27 at the end of 2027.

PS not sure if Campbell’s age is correct??

According to her bio on the club website her DOB is 01/09/03. Would make her 24 at end of contract. I'm sure she is loving being aged up! 🤣

Apparently Eden Zanker has had a contract in front of her all year but is yet to sign. According to the W show she has connections in WA and both Freo and WC are chasing her hard. It would be devastating to lose her but would we get compensated given she is out of contract?

Any updates about Tayla Harris? I hope she’s being offered an extension 😊

We've already lost enough of our men's players to wa teams, now they want our girls.

I hope zanker signs on. She's a valuable player, unless daisy gets in her ear

I think we would. Same deal as Men’s. Harris re-signed last year to avoid going through the draft to try to get to Hawthorn.

Zanker would be a huge loss and makes keeping Harris a must.

Harris to remain a Dee, WA interest in Demons forward grows - https://www.afl.com.au/news/1452373

Harris has re-signed on a 2-year deal.

Unfortunately this article also states that Zanker is viewed as likely to request a trade to WA.

Zanker is going to be a huge loss. The only consolation I can think of is that I thought losing Jesse Hogan would set us backs a decade, and we won a flag within three years of him leaving.

Sadly, I think Zanker is, all things being equal, a much more important player for the women as Hogan was for the men.

So great to have Harris for another two years.

Zanker leaving is so huge. I hope we can get value.

I could be wrong but I think Ghosty said recently in another thread that Eden was more likely to stay. Had to do with her partner getting a work contract extension in Melbourne.

There must be some conflicting emotions being Daisy. Knowing you have the ability to make your team better but also still having some loyalty towards your old coach and the women you played with

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
