Turner 4 goals, Van Rooyen and Petty both 3 goals each. Not a bad return from our key forwards!

Best performance for the year. Really liked how we've moved the ball today. Let's take leaf out of today's performance and move it into next year.

DISCO INFERNO 🔥

Question will be should we have played this mid mix a long time ago. Suns are no walk over in the middle.

Definitely one by of the games of the year, why couldn’t they play with this enthusiasm against west coast or Fremantle

Need to kick more than 112 points.

Gee Disco looks the goods.

Highest score for the year.

Go Disco

This is what footy is about. Winning clearances, hard running, sun shining, the red and blue colours glistening in it etc

Have we been carrying Oliver all year, we look to have so much more run without him out there

Yes, but not just the run but also the ball winning.

Viney as the main ball winner and Rivers the second is a great balance. Surrounded by runners.

Viney and Oliver have spent most of the year fighting over the same footy then providing no run for each other.

Kolt is going to hate the review of this game. It’s good for him to be out there, but he’s made some poor decisions.

Yeah, but overall he has been a solid contributor today!

Outstanding, we have totally destroyed the Suns on their home turf, in very hot conditions. Now leave us alone you feral journalists, and let us develop our young players, get our injured players fixed right.

Dare I say it, Billings had been solid today. Definitely played his role.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG to face the Tigers in their annual Blockbuster on ANZAC Eve for the 10th time. The Dees will be desperate to reignite their stuttering 2025 campaign and claim just their second win of the season. Can the Demons dig deep and find that ANZAC Spirit to snatch back to back wins?
