Yesterday a man came to our tent, snatched a sausage in bread and ran off without paying. No biggie, but if that person happens to be someone on here, please know that you could’ve pulled me aside and explained you had no $ and I would’ve paid for it. I’ve done this before with the odd kid who doesn’t have $ and it’s better than nicking one, especially in front of the teenagers we had working with us.

Cut to the next DA BBQ and there’s WCW weighted down with hundreds of coins to pay for the snags people claim they can’t afford 😂

Seriously people are the worst.

I understand if you have no money, but resorting to stealing from a fundraiser is downright putrid behaviour. Akin to stealing a Bunning sausage from a girl scout.

I bet he was a Pies fan who got lost

Thats poor form and a sad reflection of some parts of society. I cringe the day you will need to resort to CCTV at Community events.

If he was a Pies fan he’s one of the (extremely rare) clever ones since he was wearing a Dees guernsey and therefore blended in. 😅

That's great news.

Perhaps a return to Casey this week for limited minutes, full VFL game the weekend after and then a return for the Freo game??

Get him cherry ripe for the Prelim

Being lost trying to find a place 100 metres up the road wouldn't be beyond them..

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
