GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Fremantle

far far too easy for Fremantle here, you don't see many genuine premiership contenders that have patches this poor

Complete lack of pressure mindset not right. This is not looking good remind me of Eagles game.

McAdam not making the distance is a real worry. Not good enough.

The Melbourne Football Club needs to shape up right now

Wowee that was good play by freo..

A huge part of this is coaching, the players have no idea when to go fast, when to be composed and when to go long down the line, especially the younger guys.

Is our ball covered in soap? Woeful skills so far. And I see Michael Walters has gone the shush. Really wanna bury these guys.

That’s a few times in the last three games I’ve noticed Mcadams lack of penetration in his kicking

Any risk we can handle the ball properly? Embarrassing watching us try to move the ball.

Kozzie has already given away 3 free kicks this quarter.

[censored] handball by Salem.

When you play like this you don't deserve to win.

We won't win this. Games like this just don't turn around.

We are playing at a second rate level.

Our field kicking is deplorable and lazy.

Freo would have to drop their pressure for us to win.

This is the worst performance I've seen in terms of disposal and skill level.

May getting absolutely smashed.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
