BT quote of the round/season so far….

”Taylor Walker. So intelligent.”

Some nice retro tunes they're playing after each goal. Well, retro outside of SA.

Keep this up, Crows!!!! 💛❤️💙

Can we stop playing music after goals. It's not basketball or the big bash fgs

Totally agree, Deeves. It’s like going to a concert and seeing little excerpts of footy in between songs.

That wouldn't be so bad I guess.... Depending on which games and what not.

Don't mind grumpy old me but it just seems odd.

Unlike Basketball or the big bash footy doesn't need any embellishments.

Look at it from BT's perspective Mel.

lol ... BT's intelligence bar would be very low.

Fogarty is 25 this year. any chance he can stand up and kick some goals?

Until someone magically conjures up music that every single person at the match likes, music shouldn’t be played. Even if that was possible, music and footy don’t go together. Footy is entertaining enough without music.

On Big Bash… not only do they play music after each over, they play it between deliveries, at 1000 decibels and it’s generally really sch!tt music. I get free tickets to the Medallion Club at Renegades home matches every season and I take Panadol before the match just to be able to sit there and watch it.

Is Merrett the ultimate guy that gets 40 touches that doesn’t impact the result?

Crows are hopeless.

They remind me of the way melb used and sometimes still play, long kick forward into the pocket and our  of bounds

reset and score if you can,

I do like the way Tex plays, but he is too bloody old, but better than stringer

Why are we reviewing that? The umpire was in the perfect position. There is 0% chance that was touched past the goal line and the umpire knew it.

Sheezel is up there

Tex is in the top 3 for most skilled players in the league.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
