GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Brisbane

Ok glad I didn’t watch much of that qtr.

It may be self-punishment but I’ll watch after half time to see if we’re actually going to do/change anything.

Midfield need to pick up. Take marks. Run the lions ragged. Kick lots of goals

Work rate is just a disgrace

Fabulous kick Chin

But again we are looking a bit of a rabble.

I hope we have a lot of learnings from tonight's debacle

Rayner is destroying every young mid we're playing on him. Woey was responsible for him in that pack marking contest, but it doesn't matter which one he goes with he's too crafty and strong for them. Need to put an Oliver or ANB on him.

viney gets whacked in the face and drops the ball, free kick to Brisbane for some reason.

Cheats

Vineys effort there just sums it up

HOW THE HELL IS THAT HOLDING THE BALL!??????????????

idk, gets hit in the face and drops it, he should've gotten a free

Oliver can't even handpass the ball - thinks he's playing rugby out there.

This umpiring is an extension of last week.

I know we are playing poorly but the umpires are worse.

It's amateur hour from both.

Just now, leave it to deever said:

Oliver got rid of it.

Umps are cheating.

It cannot be any more obvious

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
