    Our forward line is screaming for a contested marking beast.

    As a general observation, but on full display tonight, what has happened to the kicking of Salem, Rivers and Sparrow? Poor direction, poor penetration, and often a direct turnover. If we can fix this kind of thing, it will go a long way toward a win.

    Have to find a way through their set coming out of D50. They are carving us up by foot and we are being forced to do panic kicks over and over again.

This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.
