Anyone know if as an AFL Member with Gold Status and Melbourne club support, if this grants me access to club member allocation? Would much rather sit with Melbourne members than in AFL Members.

It did last year, but would confirm in your MFC account. They may give you a separate barcode for the Melbourne allocation.

We all are.

Looks like priority one seats are $96! I assume for that money I get a half time foot massage from Andrew Dillon (including lots of eye contact)?

Look away now.
Prelim cat 1 tickets are $200

Yeah you'll be able get tickets for all five tomorrow, probably up in Q.

Thanks Ben.

Now my dilemma is do I get 3 good seats and then go through the process again to get 2 cheaper seats or just get all 5 together to avoid extra time and stress

My sister received her Barcode Email at 2:15pm today

I have not received my email and I always get that email and have never opted out of emails from the Footy club.

Luckily my barcodes were available from the Dees Website and luckily I remembered my password.

Hopefully there is just a lag with the emails being pumped out and received but if some members who always get the emails don't then there is something seriously wrong with the process and is not on from a professional organisation.

Hopefully Ticketek doesn't melt down tomorrow.

Yes, they will need to get barcodes from their mfc accounts.  The process I described works as that is how I got mine as I haven't received an email yet either.

Luci, you’re a legend. 👍 All sorted. Now I just have to actually get the tickets!

Bring your gameface at 10am tomorrow THBT.

Jesus wept. I love how the AFL knows what a junkie I am and increasingly jacks up the price for a fix.

I still have PTSD from the Taylor Swift situation. That was 3 days I’m never getting back, followed by a traumatic conversation with my 10 year old niece.

Worst. Uncle. Ever.

If not mentioned earlier the bun fight starts at 9 am with MCC members tickets going online. 1 visitors ticket per member

Dang. Well it sounds like there were plenty in the same boat at least.

iirc that 2 hour window was prior to tickets being sold to non-members or to the public.

Even that was a disaster last year as any member could purchase 10 tickets on one membership even though those people weren't members.

We were playing the Swans week 1, they we’re trying to maximise numbers.

Yes, however it meant any supposed priority access went out the window when non-members could get tickets ahead of any member let alone premium members.

Not me either! This is a flippin joke - how long has the club known about being ready ?

I have 2x junior barcodes from my kids’ memberships, but they won’t be coming (thanks for the Thursday AFL).

Can I share these junior barcodes with adult friends, or is it contingent on providing concession/proof of age?

TIA

they never seem to check. i know many people who have done just that.

Seems like only a smattering of people have got their barcodes. Need to get 3 tickets tomorrow and the other two don't have theirs yet.

note that cateegory 4, 5, 6, 7  are all up on level 3 (nothing on levels 1, 2)

only exception is the 2 cheer squad reservations, being category 7 (which is fair enough).

fwiw I still don't have the email with the barcode.

There is an option:  ask them to get their barcodes from mfc website:

Just go to the mfc website, click on the 'membership' tab then login (the login is to the tickemaster website).  The barcodes appear straight away or will be in the 'membership details' tab.

got all my 3

Bought 2 of the last chance access membership for the kids. Membership team are saying there's a system error and have given me barcodes at adult rates instead of junior! Will sting a little as adults are 3-4x junior prices. Not sure what to do at this point given tickets are on sale tomorrow.

I think it's different for finals, where the ticket type is linked to the membership category unfortunately. Will see tomorrow though

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
