Yeah, this guy. His face tells you everything you need to know. Screams at a teenager and gets offended when he gives it back to him.

We had a 20 page thread on this incident in 2017. The last couple of pages of that particular thread have some really funny images.

So that's where that picture comes from. Seen it reused many times on here without Clayton in it.

The Carlton v Saints game could be a key game to shaping the 8.

If the Blues win and teams presently outside the 8 (Sydney, Geelong) lose the Blues will be 6 points clear with only 4 games left to catch up. Mathematically possible and of course the Blues play us next week

There are a large number of us Demonlanders who watch multiple games across the weekend, and most of us are probably on the mature end of the age scale. So over the years we get to see some great footballers who stand out.

I was a huge fan of Paul Kelly from the Swans and would watch Sydney games just to see him.

It's the same with Bontempelli. Watching him makes me love the game. Fair, strong, ridiculously skilful, natural leader, match winner. I put him up near Robbie Flower for the graceful way he plays the game. Last night he was at his best.

Adam Goodes was always a favorite of mine . Except when he beat us almost all by himself in one particular game

Can someone email the MFC this blueprint or even a copy of the video tape from Round 23 2021

maybe we might go a season without needing to work out how to play Geelong at Geelong 😅

Takes a lot out of teams trying to go with the dees.

And in the tigers case tonight, a five day break compounds that (short breaks really do have a massive impact - which makes our early season form even more impressive given how many we had of them)

If Dusty, Cotchin & possibly Grimes were all out purely because they couldn't get up after a 5-day break I'm thinking it would have made much more sense to rest them against Melbourne, rather than against the Western Bulldogs. It probably wouldn't have made any difference given last night's winning margin but surely Richmond should have prioritised an 8-point game against a more beatable opponent? Or did they think naively they could beat Melbourne with their best team and also beat the Bulldogs with significant outs. Delusional!

Angus Brayshaw huge goal to take the lead 2021 GF - wasn't that from another "super boot Daniels"' clanger?

I put Adam Saad in the same category. A severely over-rated player that I'm always happy to see attempting to distribute the ball. Compare them with Christian Salem who is an elite ball-user.

If I could really reach out to the footy gods today can you make west coast beat Essendon.

I know it won't happen but I can dream

I was disappointed with last night's result basically because I see Richmond as less of a threat than Western Bulldogs but essentially if didn't matter who won in terms of Melbourne finishing Top 4.

Actually on reflection maybe it was better for WB to win as Richmond would need to have a clear game's break to finish ahead of Geelong whereas WB have the 2-point gap.

As far as other non-mfc games go am hoping for a Geelong win tonight and Freo tomorrow to help our Top 2 chances.

You're right it won't happen, but actually I want Essendon to win as it reduces Fremantle's chances of finishing further up the ladder and if Essendon can make the 8 it means there's one less dangerous team in the Finals.

Bombers will smash WC by 100+
Wright will kick 8+

For some reason i think the Suns will give the crows a shake today

Hope Port beat the Cats

dont want the Cats sneaking into finals, getting Hawkins and Cameron right and becoming a threat

not sure why i decided to watch this game. my eyes are starting to bleed.

I absolutely adore the Bont. He is not just an amazing footballer but a nice humble guy. Met him a few times and he just oozes warmth.
Hope he wins the Brownlow this year. An absolute star!

I hope the Suns win as it reduces chances of Freo moving up the ladder. Actually I don't think it matters as Freo won't overcome the percentage differential to either side. A draw would be a good result.

I'm hoping for a Cats win. Still hoping Top 2 for Melbourne. Actually I don't mind either way as I reckon Geelong will miss Top 8 if they lose.

Surely you're hoping for Christian Petracca above the Bont!

The melts on Bomberblitz are hilarious at the moment. They won’t be happy even if they win 😂

I mean of course, but I don’t think he will.
I sure as hell rather the Bont over Daicos or Butters.

It looks like the Suns are about to fall out of contention. So far, the round hasn’t been kind to the replacement coaches. Ratten out altogether, McQualter almost out after last night and Steven King looking like one of the sad and tired victims in one of his namesake’s novels.

Or off to the glue factory like one of his other namesake’s Melbourne Cup rides.

After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
