That was great.
I didn’t appreciate how hard it would have been to come back from the drubbings in his early career. At the elite level, that would shatter your confidence so to overcome that, end up captain, b&f and premiership player is amazing.

Great interview. His old man was one of my favourites when i was younger and Jack is one of my favourites now. He is having a stand out year.

We watched it last night great interview by Hamish, Jack set his sights on AFL footy and always wanted to be at the elite level like his dad. Great footage of him running out with Todd as a little Demon with his blonde hair wearing the number 12. Jack has achieved the ultimate in footy and is playing career best footy May it long continue, love what Jack brings to our club.💕

That scene with the crowd of boofheads at the race (10:30) enrages me every time. A bunch of them where smiling and enjoying themselves - genuinely just revelling in the chance to form a pack to be abusive to a stranger.

In contrast, it is interesting and a little bit beautiful to see genuine hard-nut Viney at this level of also being a genuine clear thinker about the importance of managing your emotional balance.

A terrific interview, Jack comes across as a thoughtful and articulate young man, who provides an intelligent insight about the struggle for success in football and life. Hard work and determination you can't beat it.

BRILLIANT!  Jack wears his heart on his sleeve.  I love that it’s a red and blue heart!

Yes loved the little skip he did when he reached the other players.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
