What a journey this has been. Some things are just so far above footy. Having said that, I am so proud that the whole football community gets behind such causes as this.
Love to be around the day when they say ‘fight MND’ will no longer be a King’s birthday ‘event’…. because a cure has been found.

Will we still be able to dump Eddie McGuire into a a pond full of ice water?

Can we start a crowd funding page to buy @AzzKikA a pair of scissors?  :D

Only if the crowd funding page specifies them as 24 carat gold!

I do cut it off but it always ends up unraveling.

And no, I don't need a crowd funding page for a needle and thread for Mrs KikA to mend it.

What, you’ve got no functioning hands? Mend it yourself! It’s 2023 not 1953. 😁

At what age were your sons when you taught them to sew WCW?

We’ve never lived on a farm, NC. 😜

As for sewing, I don’t think anyone in their generation ever mends clothing, they just buy new stuff.

Are they still doing a walk to the G? Will definitely take part if they are.

They certainly are. Also, the obligatory Demon Army BBQ will be set up in Fed. Square a couple of hours before the walk starts.

At so if your son did want something mended you'd tell him to buy a new one or sew it himself then huh?

Hot tip. Don't cut it off, untie it.

The pom pom would be actually looped on as both the pom pom and beanie are a fully fashion knit, hence no stitching is used. If you cut it, you will inevitably cut the knit itself which will unravel the whole thing.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

They wouldn’t even bother asking me to mend anything. They know what the answer would be. I watched my mum darn my dad’s socks as a kid… mending ain’t happening at mine. No-sir-ee 🙃

It is amazing how long Neil has lasted with this horrible disease. He must be one of the longest I have heard of. I know of another sufferer who lasted just 21 months.

This game is going to be massive!

& it's really got everything - From Neale & all things MND, Grundy v Pies. Every chance of a 1 v 2 & a Dees home game too.

Besides 1958, when was the last time we cracked 90k for a H&A game? We'll get passed that this year, surely?

I was so looking forward to attending this game, however I have an emergency travel overseas to see my family in June. Oh well will try to somehow watch it live (does anyone know about a trusty VPN).

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
