Kinda want a Richmond win to knock freemantle down a spot. Useless gold coast.

Edit: also Papley

Will this be a draw?

Richmond a genuine shot at this.

Yup. Sydney are nowhere near their skill level by foot or hardness around the ball thus far this year. I think they have quite a few players out of form as they’ve lost their ruthlessness or something? They should be a much better team than Richmond.

We're really getting robbed of having a decent crowd at our game by virtue of it being a double header and the Port fans most likely not being there for the majority of our game.

Yeah, the crowds at the two double-header’s are going to be very interesting.  Looking forward to hear from those at the ground what it’s like because I don’t think the broadcasters will be very honest with the crowd size, especially during the first half of our game.

Now that you say that, Because Freo and Suns played at a capacity of less than 10,000, would they get any compensation from the AFL considering they don’t have the ability to pull 20,000+ at a larger ground?

What I think people are missing  is the fact that this round doesn’t dig into a Port home game. The AFL has said that all tickets to the double header tomorrow have been sold.
If the majority of sales have gone to Port fans then yes, we could be playing in a not so filled stadium until Port fans arrive.

I’m guessing each teams’ supporters had an even chance of getting tickets. I’m hoping to see at least a half full stadium for our game from the start.

Were membership numbers required to purchase tickets?

Tigers will win from here...

Weirdly, Papley is keeping Sydney in the game even though they’re winning

Turns out Sydney are pretty [censored]

Tigers arent even finals quality and are missing a few of their best

Melbourne members got an email with a barcode back in December from memory about grabbing free tickets for Gather Round Viper. After that offer I’m not sure mate.

Agreed. I'm always conflicted when it comes to Papley. I have a soft spot as I saw him play half a dozen games with Casey as the 23rd man top up in his draft year. And he's obviously a really good player.

But he's also a complete goal hungry team mate who burns the others and he carries on like a total fl*g!

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
