I started the year with an anticipation level of 5 out of 10 prior to the StKilda game and now I'm not quite sure who we're playing this weekend , so I suppose I'm down to a 2 .

How have you fluctuated ?

To be honest, I am still pretty pumped to see what the boys produce

if we can get back Rivers and Travis I think we are a chance

Moloney and Neitz would be a bonus, but not likely

Rivers is the most important player to come back due to matchups

O'keefe, O'Loughlin, Hall, Everitt... so many good forwards

Rivers - O'Keefe

Bell - O'Loughlin

Carroll - Hall

P.Johnson - the resting Everitt/Jolly

There are some obvious reasons for our losses this year and the club knows more about them than we do. You can bet your watermelon they are working hard to turn things around.

You have to remember it was only 5/6 matches ago that we won an elimination final and took it up to the Dockers at home. It was only last year that we won 11 out of 12 and held a top4 position for 8 out of 9 weeks. It's the same blokes out there... well half of them anyway

Obviously injuries are important, but I feel the side has the capacity to get back to their A game and come out with things going our way and get a big scalp at any time.

This could be the week.

So yes, I still have high anticipation levels.

Yep, it was 6 matches ago, our last win in fact. It was one of the 2 1/2 we've won from the last 11. There is no reason to expect a change in this formline.

I am especially excited about this match!!

Probally because my best mate goes for the swans and we always give each other [censored] plus it is the first match i get 2 go!!! So i am very excited!! I also have a strange feeling we will win!

As it only happens once a year  !!!

Channel 10 or Fox?

Into Sydney, it's live (or as close to live as they think they can get) on Channel 10.

As are all Swans games on Saturday nights.

And there is the later repeat on Fox.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
